Any real estate fags here? It’s my understanding is it’s the banks that define the value of property, and only banks do a complete and thorough investigating while considering a loan or refinance if properties. Further the value of property is based on multiple factors, and mostly a best guess, i.e. how the economy was doing at the time, etc. that’s why you see the values of property in CA and especially San Francisco at this time dropping significantly.
So how could the Trump organization manipulate the value of the properties? I also believe, banks dealing with Trump org and Trump himself would be extremely careful in what they do. Further Trump has an international team of the best attorneys in the world, they would only do what was in the boundaries of the laws. So if there overestimation of the worth of the properties they should be investigating the banks and the attorneys!
