As a traditional Latin Mass Catholic it has long bothered me the questions:

Does the ‘thought’ of Satan exist?”==
It bothered me because it seemed like it was implied that although Satan doesn’t exist, the thought of him DOES. This is not correct exactly.
These evil satanists as we call them (Freemasons) basically don’t “believe” in the supernatural the way we (Catholics) believe in God. THEIR perspective is fundamentally materialistic and anti-divine. So they will openly admit they don’t believe in the supernatural, however they DO worship the THOUGHT of evil. This is why they appear to be fundamentally atheists but still perform rituals. They worship for the naturalistic/psychological component of worship.
