Chicoms have been blaming it on Ft. Detrick since early in the pandemic when people started pointing fingers at Wuhan. Then there was some kind of military olympics games or something in China right before the outbreak, so their theory is the US mil brought in the virus with them, so China would later be blamed.

There is a lot of stuff to dig in here as background, but I knew I remembered Offut as being linked to all this shit.
It was deemed by Congress too dangerous to conduct this type of research.
Of particular note is the Level 4 requirement of bio labs to conduct this type of experimentation. Wuhan was the FIRST lab granted such status in China if I recall correctly. They had failed previously, and so got the help of the French to build the Wuhan lab. The stipulation for French help was that they would also be including staff to help run the lab. But after it was complete, China kicked out the French staff. This was all researched over a year ago when we were starting to dig into the controversy.
Even if that wasn't the only purpose for Covid, it sure as hell would be convenient. Also convenient for making sure body doubles always have on a mask.
