OPERATION ANGELS ENVY: Historic Drug Busts In DC Area, 7 States Linked To Sinaloa Cartel, DEA Says

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, leaders from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office join Jarod Forget, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the DEA’s Washington Division, to announce the results of Operation Angels Envy.

Operation Angels Envy involved a set of multi-year investigations, identifying large networks of suppliers and distributors in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, working for a dangerous transnational drug trafficking organization with direct ties to the Sinaloa Cartel. The operation uncovered and dismantled seven, violent, drug trafficking organization cells in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, and resulted in 33 high-level individuals charged, hundreds of pounds of deadly drugs being taken off the streets, $5.4 million in U.S. currency, 32 rifles, 81 handguns, and other assets seized.

“This is good work. This is important work,” SAC Forget said at the press conference today. “All of us want and deserve safe neighborhoods. We need to act together to stop and hold those accountable who are bringing drugs and violence into our neighborhoods, and threatening our family’s safety and wellbeing, for their own, selfish gains. I am happy to say, together, we did that today.”

“Much like these drugs having a far-reaching impact in our country, I am proud to say the work of our detectives in Loudoun County in combination with other DEA Task Force members had an even further impact on the operations of the Sinaloa Cartel,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman. “Our law enforcement community must continue to fight this scourge and protect our citizens, and I am glad that we have such dedicated partners in our law enforcement profession that put their lives on the line every day to do just that,” Sheriff Chapman added.

Since May 2017, investigations under Operation Angels Envy led to the identification and takedown of seven independent, violent drug trafficking organizations operating in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area; their Los Angeles-based transportation network, which used tractor-trailers and shipping crates to move ton quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs across the country; and their Sinaloa Cartel supply cell. These drug trafficking organizations would then transfer profits and trafficked firearms back to the Sinaloa Cartel. Investigations into the takedown of the transportation network and supply cell led to the identification and takedown of other violent drug trafficking organizations in California, Missouri, Ohio, New England, and New York.

Florida Man Gets 35 Years For Producing Child Porn in Arizona, Minnesota, and South Carolina

TUCSON, Ariz. – Jeremy McCown, 39, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, was sentenced yesterday to 35 years in prison. McCown previously pleaded guilty to fourteen counts of Production of Child Pornography.

McCown was arrested on January 31, 2019, after an investigation identified his repeated use of false personas to place online ads seeking models in exchange for money.

McCown would then demand sexually explicit images from the women and minor children who responded to his ads. McCown convinced one woman to send sexually explicit images of her 1-year-old daughter and “manipulated two other minors” into sending sexually explicit images to him, court documents say.

He was charged with twelve counts of production of child pornography in Arizona. McCown entered into a plea agreement on January 13, 2020, which also included pleading guilty to conduct involving minor victims in Minnesota and South Carolina.

Upon release from prison, McCown will be placed on lifetime supervised release. He will be required to register as a sex offender and to complete a sex offender treatment program. McCown was also ordered to pay restitution to victims depicted in the child sex abuse images he produced.

Egypt pledges $500 million to Gaza reconstruction

Egypt has pledged $500 million for the reconstruction of Gaza.

The announcement was made following a plea from United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken for greater regional cooperation to avoid a return to the "harrowing violence of recent weeks” which left 260 people dead.

The commitment comes after a day after the US declared it would send $75 million in assistance to the Palestinians in an effort to shore-up a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

However, a top Hamas leader warned the city could see “a big religious war and widespread chaos” if Israel does not stop attempting to occupy the area.

The Windham, New Hampshire 2020 Election Audit Was Over Before It Started – Two of Three Auditors Have Conflicts with Pelosi and Schumer

The teamwork and activism of NH patriots, who fought hard to get the NH audit off the ground, have been actively subverted and sabotaged without their knowledge.

We have shocking evidence related to the actors running the audit.

It appears very likely that the course of this audit has been quietly steered by top Democratic leadership in the U.S. Congress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D), through the auditors themselves. Both Philip Stark, Ph.D. and Barbara Simons, Ph.D., the board chair of Verified Voting and also a member of George Soros’ elite Democracy Alliance Board, are current appointees to the corrupt and powerful U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).

Stark was appointed by Speaker Pelosi in 2016 and Simons was appointed by former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D) in 2008 and was re-affirmed by then-Senate Minority now Majority Leader Schumer.

Two of the three NH election auditors, therefore, Stark and Mark Lindeman, Ph.D., and co-director at Verified Voting, have direct ties and loyalty to the powerful American Democrat-progressive machine, at the very highest levels.

That deep state Democratic machine has a vested, hardcore political interest in maintaining the status quo of all 2020 state elections, including New Hampshire’s.

Finally, Harry Hursti, Ph.D., has obscured professional relationships with the other two auditors, to which he does have strong professional ties. Why?

This audit team, being driven by secretive, Democrat-socialist political interests, is anything but fair, impartial, and nonpartisan. Its agenda is not at all that of the NH patriots who fought for election honesty, transparency, and integrity.

Some history is critical. NH’s Diebold AccuVote OS voting machines are nationally infamous for being hackable and it was Harri Hursti, Ph.D., himself, as the invited computer scientist “hacker” who, back in December 2005, proved to the country that these Diebold memory cards could be easily hacked and manipulated to secretly change vote counts. He also demonstrated that his hacks were absolutely undetectable.

All Hursti did was take a Diebold, credit card-sized memory card, quickly pre-program it using an inexpensive, readily available agricultural scanning device, and stick it in the Diebold optical scanner. No keys or passwords were needed. His hack happened fast. This staged election in which the outcome was known by all, ended up with Hursti’s hacked memory card secretly deciding the “election,” and whose count reflected Hursti’s choice.

Hursti also affirmed that there were additional ways these Diebold memory cards and machines could be quickly hacked, he had simply demo’ed one of them.

Hursti figured out how to hack into the memory card … He learned how to hide votes, make losers out of winners and leave no trace, [Bev Harris] said.

This stunning moment in American history – after Diebold had repeatedly and aggressively maintained that its machines and memory cards were totally secure and trustworthy – was created and witnessed by, among others, election integrity advocate extraordinaire Bev Harris of the very ethical 501(c)(3) Black Box Voting (BBV), the ethical and patriotic Ion Sancho, Leon County, Florida Supervisor of Elections, and Susan Pynchon of the Florida Fair Elections Coalition.

Here are Bev Harris’ and Susan Pynchon’s firsthand accounts of this moment.

Dutch Court Orders Shell To Aggressively Cut Carbon Emissions In Landmark Decision

There's been a lot of speculation this year about what it might take for western governments like the US to meet the carbon emissions targets laid out in the Paris Accords, which President Biden has enthusiastically rejoined. One study by the IEA concluded that all oil and gas firms would have to halt new projects in order to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

While progressives increasingly demand more aggressive change, moderate Democrats and Republicans have long insisted that markets would naturally wean society off of its dependence on fossil fuels as renewables, nuclear and other alternatives to fossil fuel become more affordable. As COVID led to a memorable drop in demand that sent spot oil prices into negative territory last spring, investors have made clear that ESG investing and carbon credits are growing increasingly popular, alongside divestment movements. A recent runup in gas prices has also helped spur interest in alternatives.

However, over in Europe, EU courts are stepping in to force one of the world's biggest energy companies to accelerate its green commitments. Royal Dutch Shell has just lost a landmark case brought by environmental activists in Dutch courts in the Hague. The court ruled that the company must cut its greenhouse gas emissions more aggressively: by 2030, Shell's net carbon emissions needed to be 45% lower than 2019 levels. The FT said the ruling could have "far-reaching consequences" not just for Shell, but for its competitors as well. Though Shell said it expects to appeal the decision.

Ex-Penn State president sentenced to jail in connection with Sandusky abuse

A judge ordered the former president of Penn State behind bars, after upholding a conviction against him in connection with ignoring a complaint against prolific child abuser Jerry Sandusky.

Graham Spanier was instructed to report to jail on July 9 to serve at least two months for his 2017 conviction of endangering the welfare of children. The decision was reversed by a federal judge over a legal technicality in 2019, and that reversal was overturned by an appeals court.

Spanier, who was forced out of his role amid Sandusky’s dozens of child abuse charges, will also be required to serve two months of house arrest when he is released from the Centre County Correctional Facility.

He was charged of not acting on a complaint from another coach who was disturbed by seeing Sandusky molest a young boy in the shower in 2012.

Spanier said the abuse of the boy was described to him as horseplay, and he did not call the cops.

In an email to other administrators at the time, he wrote: “the only downside for us is if the message isn’t ‘heard’ and acted upon, and we then become vulnerable for not having reported it.”
