In this strategy, the assembly of the sequencing reads has been reduced from a global problem (the entire genome) to a local problem (a single clone, typically 40 - 200 Kb). First, each clone is fragmented and sequenced using a 'shotgun' approach. This involves randomly breaking up the larger clones and sequencing each fragment.
The sequenced fragments can then be assembled to recreate the insert sequence of the clone.

Now that Danny Masterson has been ordered to stand trial for three felony counts of forcible rape in Los Angeles, people are asking more questions about Danny Masterson the Scientologist.
In a 2015 profanity-strewn interview with PaperMag, Masterson made a series of statements about his religion and its founder L. Ron Hubbard. Masterson’s crude statements offer insight into the crass, hostile, and shallow mind of this alleged serial rapist: (see 2nd pic)
Danny Masterson will never be accused of being an intellectual. As for his studying the “awesome shit” L. Ron Hubbard wrote, it appears to have done Masterson no good whatsoever.
In 2008, Danny Masterson was asked about Scientology on a red carpet. At the end of this short clip, Masterson mentions that Tom Cruise has “a good looking lady.” This comment goes to Masterson’s objectification of women as sex objects.
