IMHO, yes. I had it explained to me by a nice Jewish man who, for all intents and purposes, is on our side of this fight. He explained that's why you see "white" people screaming about white supremacy or calling white people racist, they likely classify themselves as "Semetic" and don't consider themselves "white".
All I know, is I've never seen a option when selecting "race" that says 'Semetic' or Jewish for that matter.
I'm leaning towards agreeing w/you. Once upon a time notables were aligned w/researching Q crumbs. Now, everything seems notable to everyone. Maybe it is, I'm more of a perma lurker.

I was asked in my job to create a proposal to fight racism in the USAF. My boss's jaw about hit the floor when I presented (w/data) a solution that statistically would end racial issues. Just needed to stop acknowledging race as an important thing. Same for LGBQLMNOP month, they always tagged a Christian who was waiting to put on that next rank, put them in charge, just to watch them squirm.
Then I showed up and ruined their day.
