Probably had an indication in the cockpit that gave them reason to believe the brake system, anti-skid system and perhaps deployment of reverse thrust reversers on landing would fail.

This would likely be caused by what we refer to as the Weight on Wheels sensor, or Air'Ground switch. This mechanism prevents things like wheel brake lock in the air, prevents thrust reversers from deployment in the air and various other things like preventing the retraction of the landing gear on the ground etc……..

The QRH (Quick Reference Handbook) emergency checklist would lead them through various things to check and prepare for. Many times this can just be a 1 or a 0 that got out of loose in the computer and caused the sensor to illuminate. Looks like they landed on 30L which is plenty long. Also appears that they did have brakes. Couldn't tell from the video if they deployed the thrust reversers but they probably did. All's well that ends well. Good job fellows!!!!
