Eventually, the team realized it was just seeing variants on two overall nuclear designs. "In some species, chromosomes are organized like the pages of a printed newspaper, with the outer margins on one side and the folded middle at the other," explained Dudchenko, who also is co-director of DNA Zoo. "And then in other species, each chromosome is crumpled into a little ball."

"So we had a puzzle," said Dr. Erez Lieberman Aiden, an associate professor of molecular and human genetics and Emeritus McNair Scholar at Baylor, co-director of the DNA Zoo and senior author on the new study. "The data implied that over the course of evolution, species can switch back and forth from one type to the other. We wondered: What is the controlling mechanism? Might it be possible to change one type of nucleus into another in the lab?" Aiden also is director of the Center for Genome Architecture and a senior investigator at CTBP.

Scientists unravel noise-assisted signal amplification in systems with memory

Signals can be amplified by an optimum amount of noise, but stochastic resonance is a fragile phenomenon. Researchers at AMOLF were the first to investigate the role of memory for this phenomenon in an oil-filled optical microcavity. The effects of slow non-linearity (i.e. memory) on stochastic resonance were never considered before, but these experiments suggest that stochastic resonance becomes robust to variations in the signal frequency when systems have memory. This has implications in many fields of physics and energy technology. In particular, the scientists numerically show that introducing slow nonlinearity in a mechanical oscillator harvesting energy from noise can increase its efficiency tenfold.

>It is not easy to concentrate on a difficult task when two people are having a loud discussion right next to you. However, complete silence is often not the best alternative. Whether it is some soft music, remote traffic noise or the hum of people chatting in the distance, for many people, an optimum amount of noise enables them to concentrate better. "This is the human equivalent of stochastic resonance," says AMOLF group leader Said Rodriguez.

An Awakening is a natural or induced coming to consciousness or awareness of the surrounding metaphysical reality. The exit from the matrix is accompanied by a profound leap of consciousness, an augmentation of awareness, which to be sustained must be balanced.

What advertisers and shills do is an effort to unbalance the forces within us. Advertisers use our emotional imbalance to influence our buying. Shills try to generate hate by a creating a mirrored reciprocal response, and by convincing us freely expressing hatred of others is normal, natural and rational for human beings.

Shills interact with each other in the language of Hell.

Hell is an environment โ€“ a place where words like cocksucker and phrases like fuck your mother are a standard greeting.

What we are learning is that this world is a "self-created" hell.

It doesnโ€™t have to be that way, but it is that way.

By Awakening we learn to keep our internal forces balanced, to know that when we hate we are wrong, and every day to put on the full armor of God.
