Bill Maher's audience is seriously retarded. He's clearly been forced into some controlled oppo role, and even when he finesses some issues about as well as it could be done… for that camp… from a trusted member of that camp… the audience still doesn't know how to follow their trusted shepherd GRADUALLY to the pasture slightly less insane. Sometimes he looks like he just wants to scream "you morons are clapping for the wrong things!" I can see how "elite" lib celebs must loathe the fans they pretend to love, as they know what their job is to sell these people on and lose more and more respect for them the more they actually buy the crap.
As much as I can barely envision it, I think we could end up being quite satisfied with the role she ultimately lays.

I think a characteristic of all starring roles is that they will kill many birds with the one stone they've been cast. Every event, every reveal, every flub… will serve multiple purposes. Chain reactions—no nearby fireworks will go unexploded or dominos left standing. I can only see limited aspects of the plot development, and it's brilliant. Feels like nothing short of supernatural planning.
