When I first started lurking here 3 months ago I saw the word autists constantly, I thought it was referring to autism. Someone near and dear to me is autistic. It dawned on my that this person whom I love who is autistic sees the world exactly as it is…I guess that is why so many of you refer to yourselves as autists - those who see the world exactly as it truly is, the truth.
