Other angle could be, going on the theory that actors were using biolabs to develop viruses that would then be released to create the demand for vaccines, the Trump roll out predicated free to the public vaccines, which blew up the corrupt researcher/pharma business model.
More… say Covid-19 was dual purpose, first to introduce a virus that would require a vaccine to sell, and second, force high mail-ins during election 2020. Timing was right on this, so they went with it.
Would follow, then, that there are GOF viruses ready to roll out, as part of a business model, and Trump high-jacked the profit takers by saying the government would pay for it.
My guess, further, is that the 1st round of vaccines developed would work, because, otherwise, people wouldn't use them again, or newer vaccines down the road, once the results came out. So, Trump is suggesting people take a free (for them) vaccine that should work. His daughter took it, publicly, like anyone else, too, and that was publicized.
Have to think, as well, any other vaccines coming down the pike will be free of charge, as well. Precedent has been set. Pharma gets some money, to be sure, but I think it would be much more on a health insurance/pay as you go pay basis.
Would also explain pharma food fights over contraindications of the other guy's product. It's FUD to increase their own profits because there isn't enough to go around, by their standards.
Discussion of possible negative effects is very important, here, because mistrust is necessary and cuts pharma profits deeply when people decline to take it, like they would a flu vaccine.
So, free to public, or people don't take it at all. Lose/lose for big pharma.
