In the center of the galaxy where the swan's beak points….

I don't know why, and I don't care to know, but believe me, it's been five years in one. As in a story by Philip K. Dick, a temporal crack formed and we lived in there for five years in one. So, I would like to warn you, we are in 2025.

If that sounds like a bullshit, I formulate it more rationally. Try this reasoning: if there had been no pandemic, and we had simply gone our own way, as we more or less thought we would, where would we have arrived in 2025? I have the answer: where you are now.

If everything had gone normally, by 2025 we will have come to use digital devices as much as we use them now. Many would have arrived at smartworking, we would have done the shopping online, we would have ended up having a Spanish lesson with WhatsApp and working out in the gym while standing in front of a screen at home.

Many of us, in five years of reasoning and hard-to-interpret evenings, would have returned to their wife /(or husband), or would have gone to live with a woman (or a man)

We would have come to convert the salvation of the planet into a business, and Greta Thunberg into the heroine of any marketing department. Many seniors would, as is inevitable, be missed: they would have done so in five years, and not in just one year.

I realized that the thing is further messed up by a significant detail: the spell did not work perfectly, so there are pieces of the world that remained out of the acceleration. Like the pieces of lawn where the sprinkler does not reach.

Those are still in 2020. They are all over the place, and sometimes they are so small that you don't see them at first glance. There are even them in each of us, like sleeping organs.

I'll be succinct: we finished, in one year, in 2025, and unfortunately we did it in a messy and chaotic way, leaving pieces behind. So there is a kind of timeline to be recomposed, aligning it as soon as possible to 2025: whoever succeeds first, wins. Whoever does not see the problem is doomed to disappear. Whoever sees it and knows how to manage it will inherit the Earth.
