To all those men and women who are and have served, Thank You and God Bless you. o7

Spending a quiet day watching all of the Band of Brother's videos, my gratitude can not be expressed enough. I come from a big family, generations served in wars, my father, my grandfather, aunts and uncles. Now in my 60's my biggest regret in life is that I never served, if only there were do over's I'd correct that mistake if I could. I Love this country so much, I installed a 20 ft flag pole and fly a flag 24/7 brightly lit at night, very brightly lit with flood lights I modified, I made multiple LED lamps fit inside the three flood light housings. My wife says the lights are too bright now but I disagree because as far as I'm concerned Ole Glory needs to outshine everything else. That flag doesn't fly for me, I fly it for all those who serve/d. Again, o7 and God Bless you.

Tomorrow I'll follow my own little tradition, after raising the Flag from half staff to full at noon, I'll take my 1911, Garand and M1 Carbine out to my favorite spot in the woods where I sit, reflect and enjoy all the beauty God gave us. I'll plant a small flag next to my sitting tree, fire one full mag/enbloc through each weapon, then say a Prayer. It's something I've done for many, many years, rain or shine. It may seem silly, but it means something to me, I'll think of my Father, Grandfather and other family members and what they sacrificed for their country.

God Bless the USA, God Bless the World.
