Tell you what I think the deal is with the vaccines Trump is pushing. They're free for the public.

Thinking maybe plan was to release virus, then sell vaccines for big bucks, but Trump got the vaccines out ahead of schedule and under budget.

Say they took 5 years to develop a vaccine and kept the people hostage, then sold it through MD's via health insurance? Profits? JFC.

I'd say, wrt to vaccine, pharma wouldn't want a product that killed or maimed their customer base. So, as with any medication there will be contraindications (had that happen to me once), but or the most part they are relatively safe. Ivanka took her shots publicly.

So, you could say Trump fucked over pharma by creating a situation that made a fast-tracked vaccine free, and to a society that he knew would be hesitant to take it anyway.
