A cafe owner in Northern California says he’s charging a small fee to customers who wear masks and will give a discount to customers who throw their masks in the trash.
Chris Castleman, owner of Fiddleheads Cafe in Mendocino, posted a sign last Sunday announcing the $5 fee for all those who decide to wear a mask while placing their order.
“I don’t think $5 to charity is too much to ask from mask-wearing customers who claim to care so much about the community they live in,” he told NBC News.
Just below the notice is another message in smaller print that says the cafe will add another $5 fee if they catch customers bragging about their COVID-19 vaccine Proceeds from both fees will go to Project Sanctuary, an organization that assists victims of domestic abuse, and then to a different charity next week.

Rashad Turner, the founder of BLM in Saint Paul, resigned after a little over one year, as he realized that the leftist organization had “little concern for rebuilding black families.” He continued, “My mother wasn’t able to take care of me, so I was raised by my grandparents. They told me that if I was going to change my life for the better, education was the answer. So, I worked hard in school. I got into Hamline University, and earned a college degree, the first in my family. Then I went on to earn a master’s in education from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am living proof that no matter your start in life, quality education is a pathway to success,” said Turner.
“In 2015 I was a founder of Black Lives Matter in St. Paul. I believed the organization stood for exactly what the name implies, black lives do matter,” explained Turner. “However, after a year on the inside, I learned they have little concern for rebuilding black families, and they cared even less about improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis.”
“That was made clear when they publicly denounced charter schools, alongside the teachers’ union. I was an insider in Black Lives Matter, and I learned the ugly truth: the moratorium on charter schools does not support rebuilding the black family, but it does create barriers to a better education for black children,” revealed Turner in a video titled The Truth Revealed about BLM.

Dallas Middle School Teacher Placed on Leave After Approving Black Lives Matter Yearbook Cover
A Dallas middle school teacher has been placed on leave after approving Black Lives Matter messaging on the school’s yearbook cover.
The pink-haired and middle aged Kayla Mick, who teaches at Downing Middle School, approved the artwork which was published on the yearbook’s last week.
Mick is now on administrative leave while an investigation is underway by the Lewisville school district.
“The district is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the design of the yearbook before taking further action. LISD spokeswoman Amanda Brim said it would be ‘inaccurate’ to say Mick was placed on leave as a result of parent complaints, but she declined to give further details, citing the ongoing review,” the Dallas News reports.
The school principal has offered outraged parents the opportunity to get yearbooks with an alternate cover.

Flashcards contained details including info helping soldiers remember which vaults within a base contained nuclear weapons and which ones were empty
By simply looking up the names of specific bases thought to contain nuclear weapons details including about passwords, security procedures were revealed
Locations of security cameras and duress signal words soldiers can use when compromised were also included
The flashcards dated back to 2013 but some were as recent as April 2021
Bellingcat then cross-referenced data from the flashcards with other reports and images shared online by soldiers themselves to verify existence of nuclear vaults
All flashcards have since been deleted after the military were asked for comment

Wuhan lab researcher's wife died of COVID-like illness in December 2019
The wife of a Wuhan lab researcher working on coronaviruses died of what appeared to be COVID-19 in December 2019, the leader of a State Department investigation under the Trump administration told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
It would have been an early clue that the virus could be transmitted among humans, yet Chinese authorities said that the virus was not transmissible for at least a month after they knew it was, allowing it to spread, according to David Asher, who led an investigation on COVID-19’s origins and served in the State Department under Democrat and Republican presidents.
China reported in mid-January that the virus was transmissible among humans.
An individual who worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the time provided the information on the lab researcher’s wife dying, according to Asher.
A Wall Street Journal story on Sunday reported that three Wuhan lab workers were hospitalized with COVID-like symptoms in November 2019, before the first confirmed case of COVID-19 on Dec. 8. The story’s main findings, that WIV workers had possible COVID-19 symptoms in fall 2019, before the first confirmed case, were already in a State Department statement on COVID-19’s origins released in the last days of the Trump administration.
The lab workers appear to have been more likely to have had COVID-19 than the flu, Asher said.
