Argentina Ready to Host Several US Military Bases - Reports

MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) - Argentina's President Mauricio Macri green-lighted the creation of several US military bases on the territory of his country, media reported citing sources.

According to the Mexican news portal Aristegui Noticias, at least three US bases could be established in Argentina's provinces Neuquen, Misiones and Tierra del Fuego. Their creation should be financed by the US Southern Command.

The news portal said Argentina's Security Minister Patricia Bullrich was allegedly one of the key supporters of the creation of the bases.

In November 2015, center-right Mauricio Macri won the presidential election in Argentina. Macri's victory put an end to the 12-year period, when the country was ruled by left-wing Nestor Kirchner in 2003-2007 and by his wife Cristina Kirchner in 2007-2015.

Macri has repeatedly said that the policy of his predecessors resulted in Argentina's isolation from the Western countries and promised to improve the relations of Buenos-Aires with the United States and the European Union.

Last year, US Senate introduced a resolution that upholds the US commitment to continue military and economic cooperation with Argentina aThe resolution encourages the US State Department to create an effective strategy to expand cooperation with the government of Argentina on issues of bilateral, regional as well as global concern, the release added.

I knew where I remember that name "Tierra del Fuego" was from…it was a sub that sunk in 2017

ARA San Juan (S-42), a TR-1700-class diesel-electric submarine in service with the Argentine Navy since 19 November 1985, was built in West Germany by Thyssen Nordseewerke.[4] She was laid down on 18 March 1982 and launched on 20 June 1983. San Juan underwent a mid-life update from 2008 to 2013, which included replacing all battery elements.[5]

In early November 2017, San Juan was part of a navy exercise inTierra del Fuegowhich included the sinking of the ex ARA Comodoro Somellera as a target.[6][7] With the war game completed and after a short visit to Ushuaia open to the public, the submarine got underway to her home base at Mar del Plata.[8]

He's also been a laser pointer for the cats in the MSM to keep them distracted and unsuspecting while [they] were enveloped. Masterful is the right word.

He's done the 'Columbo' role very well, too. MSM says 44 aboard the ARA San Juan. POTUS tweets about 45 lost. POTUS has the entire IC and Mil Int advising him, but the MSM says POTUS is wrong rather than asking themselves 'What did we miss?' Hubris and confirmation bias keeps them underestimating him.

True.

I recall when the ARA San Juan was lost. The MSM reported 44 on board. POTUS wrote a tweet about '45 people aboard':

"I have long given the order to help Argentina with the Search and Rescue mission of their missing submarine. 45 people aboard and not much time left. May God be with them and the people of Argentina!"

The media, failing to understand that the President has better access to intel than they do declared the President in error.

MSM hubris.

The media misinterpreting and second guessing POTUS again? I'm not shocked. POTUS is central to massive intelligence gathering capabilities and has additional private resources. You would think they would listen by now. Their own arrogance has them focusing on style instead of substance. When the ARA San Juan was lost with an official crew roster of 44 POTUS expressed condolences to the families of the 45 who died. Did the media think 'What have we missed?'. No. They said POTUS was wrong.

If POTUS says this was a secure election and the Dems rigged it, the best bet for the media would be to think: 'What am I missing?'. POTUS has proof. Just as he has proof that the MSM is the enemy of the people. Wake up Maggie, POTUS has something to say to you.

When the ARA San Juan was lost a few years back we followed the situation live.

'Officially' she was lost with 44 aboard.

POTUS (who has amazing intelligence resources supporting him) tweets condolences to the families of the 45 people aboard.

Media giggles and calls POTUS stupid.

Rinse and repeat.

more add'l notes: There were at least 44 servicemen on board the missing submarine,[10] including Argentina's first female submarine officer, Eliana Krawczyk.[11]

The Argentian San Juan sub that went down last fall had an interesting (((Jewish female officer))) on board…

Lt. Eliana Maria Krawczyk, 34, the sub's operations chief (political officer ;-))

"The German-made submarine went missing as it was journeying from the southern port of Ushuaia to the city of Mar del Plata, about 400km south-east of Buenos Aires."

Sorry, correction…POTUS wasn't trolling them…It probably was 44 crew members, including the one female…but what he wasn't telling us is…he knows who the one(1) extra person was on that sub…maybe trying to escape, who knows…maybe it was a stowaway like "Red October"…where the one(1) crewmember was really a crew member…a different kind of stowaway, which could be the reason why it sank…awwwww…who knows…i'm just throwing shit out there…obviously i don't know anything…kek…
