One of the things they teach you in intelligence is that people whose eyes have the white showing 360 degrees are likely to be unstableโฆ
even CNN caught it

all day long I have been lurking and thinking the same thing
wtf is an "actual anon" faggot?
It's not left or right politics - it's good vs evil
you are fighting the wrong fight
So, ARCore wants us to believe that:
a camera must knows it's position to function - false
a camera must interpret horizontal surfaces - false
a camera must know lighting conditions to work - false, except for complete idiots
Thus, what are these functions truly required for?
wow - oh man, but wowโฆ
Must know it's position means GPS location, and not within 10m but a single meter.
Horizontal surfaces are normally a city feature - not typically seen in nature. This would tie nicely into Google or Bing maps to determine and verify location of a photo.
Lighting would give you time of day - allowing further verification of picture if time stamp is on it.
But we all know this is to make the camera more "friendly" and "easier to use"โฆ/sarc
