So many threads to pull.

Not sure exactly if this IS a thing, but it might be. Remember history. How much influence have certain English families/trading companies, had on China and how much do they have today? There is always ebb and flow, but when it comes to money and power, birds of a feather tend to flock together, politics be damned. I suspect that, "politics," is merely a smoke screen that allows certain people to run amok and shuffle blame around, and because no one is really able to pin point the exact person or persons responsible, nothing effective is actually ever done to address the situation. Smoke and mirrors. It would seem, that the very same people we look to, to solve the problem, are in fact, the very same people who are CAUSING the problem, so nothing is ever really done about it.
