For a few yeaers after i ventured into the realm of spirituality and self mastery, I would often have dreams about big cats (lions, pumas, panthers, jaguars) ambushing me. Be it in the jungle or in my suburban childhood neighborhood.
It was not a full on "being hunted thing", most of the time I was minding my own business and then encountered one of those animals on my path. many times I would get startled and fearful, which in turn would cause the cat to attack me. THe dreams end as soon as the cat jumps as me, of course.
Now those dreams subsided, and for a good year, I did not dream about cats at all.
In the recent months, I have had multiple dreams though, where I encountered house cats.
And they would talk to me in my dream, like have full on conversations with me. About life and stuff. They were mostly friendly as far as I recall, not patronizing,and it was not an asymmetrical conversation.
My family has never owned cats,if anything my extended reelatives always had dogs. I have never had dreams about any kinds of dog.
Just wanted to share this as it kind of makes me wonder what the cause of this could be. Any input would be appreciated.
