It’s going to be bad. The one thing I feel somewhat good about is I told my family many truths, mostly science and verifiable proof of political things that they were deceived about. But the hatred and vehemence from them has been almost too much to bear. Knowing that, just because I believe in the good of our President, country and that they should have given Trump a chance, the lunacy I’ve dealt with is beyond belief.
One sister confessed she didn’t know why my family treated me like this, “it’s just not right and nothing Mom would ever do”. She realizes it, but she’s been just as much programmed. She has an excuse though, her husband has dire cancer.
I’m not going to worry about the past treatment, I’ll be there if they need me. I believe that the choices they made are based on such insidious programming and fear, they all reinforce their group think; and I believe in forgiveness.
