Joe Biden’s brother owned part of an island 9 miles from Epstein island
In May 2005, James Biden purchased an acre of land on Water Island for $150,000. He then applied for and received an easement to divide the property into three plots, one of which he sold to lobbyist Scott Green — a decade-long Senate staffer for Joe Biden in the 1980s — for $150,000. James had initially purchased all three parcels for $150,000, meaning that he made his money back and was able to keep the majority of the one acre plot for himself.- YAHOO NEWS
Water Island: Shipwreck has hosted famous guests who value privacy, like actors Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Vice President Joe Biden (with his family and entourage) spent a Christmas week with us, as did a US Senator, Governor, and the head of a labor union.
We offer 3 acres, 1,000' of shoreline, swim on site, a dock, and a shipwreck in front. This West Indian vernacular cottage is the guest house to a 2 bedroom home near by.
The space
The Tree House is a small cottage in the classical West Indian style. 1 bed/1 bath, kitchen with a generous screen porch and a small deck. The grounds are 3 acres with 1,000' shoreline. There are 7 different decks, docks, gazebos, and patios, as well as the lawns to chose from. You will often have the whole property to yourselves. When we are at the main house, we protect your privacy.
We are located on the gentle leeward, or wind sheltered, side of the island, like Honeymoon Beach. The wind and waves are more tame.
The secret swimming grotto has a staircase.
The pebble beach can be accessed on foot. The dock is under repair. You can snorkel the Shipwreck, 50 yards offshore.
Birds do mating dances and strut on the lawn. Dolphins, whales, and sea turtles swim by; there are hermit crabs and tortoises; the cruise ships go right past, and the sunsets are fabulous. Gorgeous yachts anchor off the front yard.
