Boeing F-15EX Will Be Ready for the Future of Warfare in the Sky

Here’s What You Need to Remember: The F-15EX is a two-seat fighter that will feature capabilities that are completely unique to the Air Force's version. It will offer fly-by-wire flight controls, new weapons stations, a new electronic warfare suite, advanced radar and computer, conformal fuel tanks and a strengthened airframe

Even as the United States Air Force continues to acquire the fifth-generation Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter jet, the service will also be receiving the latest updated version of the Boeing F-15 jet – a platform that first took flight long before many of today's pilots were even born. However, the F-15EX is far more advanced than the original F-15A that was introduced in 1974 and entered service two years later.

Here Comes the Stryker A1 IM-SHORAD Short Range Air Defense

There’s really no comparison to anything I’ve operated in my career, Said Sergeant Andrew Veres, a member of The 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery. "Everything in these systems is an improvement – the survivability, mobility, dependability, off road ability – it gives us the ability to stay in the fight longer."

The addition of the Stryker-based M-SHORAD system will provide better protection of maneuver forces at increased ranges and with improved mobility, allowing a stronger defense of U.S. forces, Allies and partners against adversary air threats.

Malaysia Deploy fighter jet to intercept 16 china warplanes that Intrude Malaysian airspace in SCS

Malaysia’s military on Tuesday accused 16 Chinese military jets of flying close to its national airspace after entering what it termed “the Malaysia Maritime Zone” of the disputed South China Sea.

“The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) confirms the detection of 16 People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft entering the Malaysia Maritime Zone (ZMM) airspace, and that they were flying close to our national airspace,” the RMAF said in a statement.

The RMAF said it sent reconnaissance jets “to perform visual identification” of the Chinese planes, which it said were Russian-made Ilyushin Il-76 and China’s own Xian Y-20 – “strategic transport aircraft” – which “are capable of performing a variety of missions,” according to the RMAF.
