When a TEACHER makes a new intellectually challenging point in class, EACH student will cross that bridge at a different moment of understanding. Until the class has absorbed the new "facts" they are DIVIDED among themselves. If some students refuse to learn, they stay divided and drop out of the class eventually.
So, here is the lesson from Q as I interpret it:
THE PAYTRIOTS have been useful in the past, but "THAT IS NOT BEING WOKE". So wake up.
And understand that they have/had a JOB to do and protect. And they would never "step on the toe that controls them" no more than you would "out your boss" and expect to have a job in the morning.
