Yeah, I was the one posting this for years here. I also got a (you) from Q when I mentioned "incarnated extraterrestrials". I'm glad this is becoming more public, but how exactly this will play out remains to be seen. Remember that the Universe is huge and there are many types of ETs, positive and negative ones. Positive ones have the upper hand, this is why we are not invaded or abducted anymore. Catch 22 is, we choose our government, and our government chooses to cooperate with evil ETs.

Very simple for the big Galactic Federation of Light - all member civilizations and associate civilizations serve our One Creator, with differences among each straightened out by Natural Law and common love for one and all (we are all conscious beings). Negative ETs have a pyramid power hierarchy like dictatorships, and they fight among themselves too. As for this planet, everyone understands clearly what is happening; they are not stupid, not the powerful ones, not the ones that observe. It's us, the majority of our own people that chooses to pull the short stick on knowledge and elucidation. All it takes is a bit of effort and a bit of faith to get out of the Matrix…
If the majority of the people invite them, they WILL land. if the majority of the people considers MSM fear-narratives or other control programs to be much more important, then they won't land except in dire emergencies to protect sacred life of those that have chosen to be by God's side.
I've just explained that, the people have chosen NOT to have contacts, and breaking this contact barrier requires spiritual discipline because, as you have said, we are in the dark and until spiritual Light is firmly within you, there's no point in contact anyway. I've broken this barrier already, it's not terribly hard, they are wonderful friends.
They are real, the thing to watch for is the eventual spin on the story.
