Potential red bus candidate. RML 2548 (JJD 548D)

Seems to be a good match, there maybe a few caveats there though, not sure how clear the RML2548 ID would be in the Q pic, that may just be a res issue, font size appears about right. Also the angle of the steering wheel, in the Q pic it appears completely level, however I am wondering if they are adjustable or if they are moved getting in/out of the cab - having a look at that atm.

No bar/advertising frame

White text by the step by front wheel

Something just above the panel line just above step - routemasterhire.com url

Top window handle(?) location

Oddly, thats the same number/route as the one I posted slightly up bread. However it appears that one, RML2353, has been in Australia since 2006.

Thanks Anon, actually, looking at that pic I think the "steering wheel" in the Q pic may actually just be that horizontal seal across window.

I'm not too sure tbh, sometimes I look at it and think they are joints but then again seems an odd angle for it, maybe if they went the other way. Also think it would be easier to just replace the panels rather than cut/join them at custom angles.

Was thinking something similar to this post >>13911509 but as you say it appears wrong, the two reflections/shadows appear too close together imo. It appears if its something similar, 2nd pic, added in green.

The section we are looking at from the enhanced version up bread.

Tbh this again comes down to the shadow/reflection/joints/ripple question but Ill drop it in anyway.

One thing I was thinking - as the RM has a curved edge on the roof, does it show us more. See a very crude representation of what I mean in pic 2. If you look at pic 3 (even more zoom), as the sun is roughly behind the bus, I am thinking that the white is the sky, and the black/shadow is essentially the roof line of the buildings. But see how there is a light object that extends into the shadow, possibly something suspended, part of the decorations? I dont know, tbh this is just thinking out loud.
