Just having a little look at the bus. I think it is a RML model of Routemaster.

The RML was a standard RM with a distinctive and seemingly out of place half-window section added in the middle giving eight extra seats. This was not a dramatic change, as it took advantage of the modular design approach of the Routemaster that would be copied by other manufacturers.[16] The RML code was originally used to identify the "Routemaster Leyland", with what became the RML originally designated the ER (Extended Routemaster).

Also whilst I have come across a few that needed a second glance, none that are a good match, the main issue being the lack of the fixing for advertisements. See pics, note the bar just below the windows on the upper deck. Our red bus pic does not appear to have one of those. Have not found one yet that doesn't have that bar or a type of frame. There is also the white text (I think) down by the step, just by the front wheel. That seems to be relatively common but some don't have it. There is also the handle/mark on the 1st openable windows on the upper deck - tbh that may just be a reflection or something.
