Exactly, anon! I never once said God wasn't real. But when people peddle authoritative bullshit, I get my knickers in a wad and offer counter-points. Then the eventual "Well, good luck you heathen" gets spouted, and there ya have it. Lots of interesting stuff in the Bible. Lots. And though I'll never knock the Lord's prayer, mine usually goes something like this:
"Heavenly father, please help me to always be a better person, and help us save all those that are suffering at the hands of your enemies during the time that you allow such to be."
