Been thinking that myself lately. Imagine the can of worms that would open up. I put my trust in God, and things are sure looking sketchy on the horizon. The EU is up to something, think revived Roman Empire and it's place in prophecy.
The last empire will not be like the previous ones, it will mainly be an economic entity, feet mixed with clay. Partly strong, partly weak. It will eventually dominate most, if not all, of the world. Israel is going to believe in a false messiah, for a time, until God has had enough and steps in personally.
There will most likely be an invasion of Israel by Russia and mainly her Islamic buddies. God will step in and say, "Nope, not gonna happen," and they will be wiped out and it will take Israel approx 7 months to clean up the mess left behind. They will bury the bodies east of the dead sea.
Just remember, God is NOT going to save Israel because they have been good little boys and girls, but because His name was on the deal with them from the very beginning. He is going to save them for HIS names sake, not because they deserved it. NONE of us deserve it, truth be told.
