For this not to be the case, anons would have to believe the last few years with Q was complete and utter bullshit. After all the proofs, digs, etc. It'd also have to be convincing enough to appear as though it "fizzled out" (Sun Tzu stuff). Look at the current administration, and how much they are exposing themselves with every move.
If the DS already has a successful model of "shadow presidency" for the past few generations, what would a military and constitutionally-backed version of that look like? It's a question I ask myself often. Anons thought Q had a time machine or sci-fi tech because of how accurately they "predicted the future" all the time. Q's response? Control.

But honestly, if they aren't in control, we should all be d-e-d right about now. We ain't, even though there've been casualties. Some things weren't preventable, but to ensure mission success, we had to go through it instead of around it. No other way. Hard truths and all that. Much of what's posted nowadays is speculation based on individual perceptions of the past. It's fun, but it can cause a bit of confusion, too.
