Biden defends Fauci after Senator Hawley joins GOP calls for White House medical chief to resign or be fired

President Joe Biden went out of his way to defend Dr. Anthony Fauci, giving his chief medical adviser a vote of confidence as the White House shot down the prospect of firing him amid increasing Republican demands for his ouster.

“Yes, I’m very confident in Dr. Fauci,” Biden said on Friday after a press briefing in Delaware. The president had left the briefing room but poked his head back in through a doorway after a reporter shouted a question about whether he has confidence in Fauci.

Asked at a press conference later in the day whether she could imagine any circumstance in which Biden would fire Fauci, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “No.”

The administration is standing by Fauci, at least so far, after a trove of the doctor’s emails were released this week under Freedom of Information Act requests by media outlets. The emails, which were from early months of the Covid-19 outbreak, raised controversies on such issues as Fauci’s efforts to dismiss speculation that the virus may have leaked from a Chinese lab and private comments on mitigation measures – such as mask-wearing and school closings – that conflicted with some of his public directives.

Psaki defended Fauci on Thursday, telling reporters, “He’s been an undeniable asset in our country’s pandemic response, but it’s obviously not that advantageous for me to relitigate the substance of emails from 17 months ago.”

Even before the email bombshells, some Republican lawmakers, such as Representatives Warren Davidson (Ohio) and Guy Reschenthaler (Pennsylvania), were calling for Fauci to be fired over such issues as his flip-flopping on pandemic directives and alleged government investment in gain-of-function virus research.

Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), who said last month that Fauci lied to Congress about US funding of research at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, reacted to the email release by saying the doctor should be fired. “If it turns out that the virus came from the Wuhan lab, which it looks like it did, there’s a great deal of culpability in that he was a big supporter of the funding, but he also was a big supporter to this day of saying we can trust the Chinese on this,” Paul said on Wednesday in a Fox News interview.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) on Friday joined the GOP chorus calling for Fauci’s departure. “Anthony Fauci’s recently released emails and investigative reporting about Covid-19 origins are shocking,” he said. “The time has come for Fauci to resign and for a full congressional investigation into the origins of Covid-19 – and into any and all efforts to prevent a full accounting.”

Hawley added that Americans deserve to know whether government officials tried to stop efforts to determine the origins of Covid-19. “And Congress must also find out to what extent to what extent Fauci’s NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease) was involved in financing research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” he said.

CNN reported late last month that the Biden administration shut down a State Department investigation into whether the virus leaked from the Wuhan lab. The probe began last fall, under former President Donald Trump. On May 26, the day after the CNN report, Biden ordered US intelligence agencies to try to pinpoint the origin of the outbreak within 90 days.

Mexican Border State Hospital Faces Probe for Organ Transplant Irregularities

Mexican federal officials are pushing for the reopening of an investigation into a private border state hospital for irregularities in organ transplants. Some allegations include favoring recipients with political ties or those from wealthy families, plus cover-ups by government authorities.

The investigation deals with organ transplants in 2017 performed at Hospital Christus Muguerza, a private institution in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. One of the recipients who moved to the top of the list is the stepson of a current gubernatorial candidate.

Breitbart Texas obtained exclusive access to investigative documents from the original case file.

The probe initiated when the Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) carried out audit #17-AF-3319-01302-TV in May 2017, revealing missing signatures by the Internal Committee for Transplants which are needed for any such operations in the hospital. The document required 12 signatures with only five listed on the original document; which is also a handwritten page instead of formal letterhead.

The audit led to an investigation by Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office (then PGR-now FGR) over alleged illegal transplants where several individuals on the waiting list were passed over in place of others. Another irregularity dealt with a missing autopsy and failure to notify law enforcement about a gunshot victim.

According to a complaint filed with the PGR, filed as #FED/SEIDF/UNAI-NL/0001542/2017, one of the transplants in January 2017 favored a politician’s stepson despite being six positions down on the list. Some of the documents involving the patient were either backdated or filed two days before the organ donor actually died.

The investigation also led federal authorities to single out the former Attorney General of Nuevo Leon Bernardo Jaime Gonzalez for failing to provide the autopsy reports of an organ donor who had allegedly died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The lack of cooperation led federal authorities to file a formal request listed in document #FED/NL/ESC/0000307/2019.

In early 2021, Orlando Guadalupe Robles Rosales, an agent with the FGR ruled that no criminal action would be taken in the case. However, the COFEPRIS has filed a series of lawsuits asking a federal judge to reopen the case and prosecute the individuals behind the irregularities and the cover-up.

Manhattan DA calls Trump Organization senior vice president Jeff McConney as the first executive to testify to the grand jury in the case against the ex-president

One of the most senior officials in the Trump Organization has been subpoenaed to appear before a special grand jury deciding whether former President Donald Trump should face charges, according to reports.

Jeff McConney is senior vice president and controller of the Trump family business, where he is a 35-year veteran.

The development indicates how investigators are entering a new phase as they focus in on the company's financial affairs.

ABC News reported that he was the first employee of the former president's company to testify.

'Complex accounting issues are crucial to this investigation, as is the knowledge and intent of the people at the Trump Organization involved in these transactions,' Daniel R. Alonso, former chief assistant district attorney in Manhattan, told the outlet.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance is leading one of a number of investigations into the former president's business practises.

It was triggered by the testimony of Michael Cohen, who worked as Trump's personal attorney and fixer.

One focus is reported to be whether Trump inflated the value of properties to obtain bank loans and deflated them when calculating tax liabilities. Another area under scrutiny is compensation provided to top employees.

Vance is stepping down at the end of the year, which means he has limited time to bring charges.

Last month it emerged that he had convened a grand jury and was pressing ahead notifying potential witnesses.

Prosecutors have also homed in on one of McConney's colleagues, Allen H. Weisselberg, the Trump Organization's chief financial officer.

His daughter-in-law told CNN he may 'flip' on the former president.

In February, Vance's office said it had obtained Trump's tax returns after a long legal battle.

Trump had refused to reveal his tax records throughout his presidency, breaking with convention.

Since then, the former president has dismissed the investigation as more of the same he endured in power.

'This is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history,' Trump said recently.

'This is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the presidential election, and it's being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors.'

VAERS was designed from the start to UNDERCOUNT vaccine injuries and deaths, yet it’s already sounding alarm bells over covid vaccine injuries and deaths

The mainstream media is attempting to downplay the serious adverse events being reported to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System) in conjunction with Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines, claiming that the figures pale in comparison to the number of lives being “saved” from the injections. What they are missing, though, is the fact that VAERS only captures a very small percentage of the total number of injuries and deaths caused by the jabs.

Referred to as a “passive” surveillance system, VAERS was never intended to track every instance of someone dying or becoming permanently injured from a vaccine. Instead, it relies entirely on voluntary reporting, which some estimate to be as little as one percent of the true figures.

The website CovidVaccineReactions.com does a much better job of capturing injuries and deaths associated with Wuhan Flu shots, but even this resource is likely inadequate.

Because nobody really knows the full extent of the fallout from this depopulation scheme, it is easy for the corporate media to simply claim, See? The vaccines are safe and effective!, based on the official numbers in VAERS.

Even those are unacceptably high at more than 4,500 vaccine-induced deaths over the course of about five months. Remember when the Democrats said it was necessary to wear a mask forever because if doing so could save even one life, then it would all be worth it? What about thousands of lives that were lost due to the injections?

Vast majority of doctors never report vaccine injuries to VAERS

Tucker Carlson of Fox News is one of the few who has been drawing attention to covid vaccine-related injuries and deaths, warning that the numbers are higher than for any other vaccine that has ever been released. Where is everyone else who all last year whined about how not enough was being done to save lives?

Carlson and others are attempting to do just that by warning the public about the risks associated with Chinese Virus injections, as well as about the abysmal rate of adverse events reporting to VAERS. In response, they are being chastised by the “stay home, stay safe” crowd for spreading “misinformation.

At one point, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded a million-dollar grant to researchers from Harvard Medical School to develop a computerized “active” alternative to VAERS. The system would aim for a better capture rate, as well as run randomized trials evaluating both systems.

UN suspends Iran's General Assembly voting rights

Iran described on Friday the United Nations (UN) decision to suspend Tehran's voting rights in the UN General Assembly due to its failure to pay dues as "shameful and unacceptable".

Recently, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for the application of Article 19 of the UN Charter, which provides for the suspension of the voting rights of any country that fails to pay its dues for the past two years.

Tehran blamed its inability to pay UN contributions arrears (estimated at $16.2 million in February) on US financial sanctions, re-imposed by former President Donald Trump in 2018, which deprive Iran of access to the global financial system.

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated in a message to Guterres, which he posted on Twitter on Thursday, that his country rejects the suspension of its voting rights, adding: "This decision is fundamentally flawed, entirely unacceptable and completely unjustified." Zarif added: "Iran's inability to fulfil its financial obligation toward the United Nations is directly caused by unlawful unilateral sanctions imposed by the United States."

Zarif asserted that Iran's incapacity to pay "falls beyond its will," while urging the UN leadership to "remain true to the purposes and principles" of the UN charter, and to "refrain from any decision that betrays the spirit of sovereign equality of member states and weakens multilateralism."

In a letter sent on 28 May to the president of the UN General Assembly, Guterres stated that five member states are currently prevented from voting under Article 19 of the UN charter, confirming that Iran is required to pay around $16.2 million to regain its voting rights.

On the other hand, the UN secretary-general stressed in his letter, that the UN General Assembly could allow any country banned from voting under Article 19 to regain its voting rights: "If it finds that the concerned member state is incapable of paying due to conditions beyond its control."

In response to a question about Iran's current situation, UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric announced at his daily briefing on Thursday: "We have been in very intense discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran on finding a way for them to pay their dues."

Dujarric explained: "It is not from lack of trying from either our side or from their side, but as you know, the country falls under a number of bilateral sanctions, which makes it a bit challenging."

He added that concerning a member state that falls under the "automatic procedure" stipulated by Article 19, the possibility of regaining its voting rights is decided by the General Assembly member states.

Sheriff's office arrests Concord man for child sex crimes spanning decades

A Concord man was arrested and charged with multiple sex offenses against children Thursday, but it wasn't the first time the man had been accused.

Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Merle "Butch" Alexander Overcash Jr., 75, on June 3 with multiple sex offenses involving children. He was charged with one count of first-degree rape of a child, one count of second-degree rape, one count of second-degree sexual offense, six counts of indecent liberties with a child and three counts of crime against nature.

The sheriff's office said the investigation began in April, but since then multiple victims have come forward with accusations of abuse committed by Overcash. Those accusations span from January 1976 through April 2021.

A person closely connected with Overcash and his family told the Independent Tribune that the abuse was an open secret for the family and even some friends that was often claimed to be rumors. But it isn't the first time authorities have been notified about accusations of sexual assault on minors by Overcash.

About 40 years ago, several young people came to police with accusations about Overcash assaulting them, said a person connected to the family. But some victims didn't feel comfortable fully disclosing what had happened to them.

The person connected with the family told the Independent Tribune that Overcash threatened his victims. But that wasn't the only thing keeping them from speaking out.

"It was a different time back then. And everybody made it seem like it was an embarrassment more than anything," the person said.

And as victims interacted more with the police, it became clear that proving the accusations would be difficult. This was before the internet or DNA," the person said. "There wasn't much."

The police ultimately didn't press charges, the person said, stating that there was a lack of evidence.

But now, victims from decades ago are coming forward with their stories, even some who didn't come forward back then. Once people realized Overcash was being investigated again, they felt comfortable finally coming forward because they feel less afraid, the person said.

Some victims, who are now adults, were unaware that Overcash could still be charged for the previous sexual assault allegations from when they were children. But in the state of North Carolina, there is no statute of limitation for felony sex crimes.

Police: Athens mayor, 3 other area men charged after trying to solicit sex online from minor

The mayor of an East Texas town as well as three other Longview-area men have been charged after police said they tried to solicit sex online with investigators posing as minors.

Athens Mayor James “Monte” Montgomery, who resigned Friday, and the others were booked into the Gregg County Jail after the operation conducted Wednesday and Thursday, according to a statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The DPS operation was in conjunction with the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, Longview Police Department, Gregg County Sheriff’s Office, Collin County Sheriff’s Office, FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.

Charged in the operation are:

Montgomery, 63, of Athens, was released from jail Thursday on $300,000 bond on a charge of online solicitation of a minor sexual conduct.

Jesse Bennett Mason, 40, of Hallsville, remained jailed Friday on bonds totaling $75,000 on charges of online solicitation of a minor sexual conduct; possession with intent to promote child pornography; and possession of child pornography.

Jordan Rook, 23, remained jailed Friday, charged with online solicitation of a minor. Bond information was unavailable. Rook’s residence is listed as Longview by DPS but Kilgore in Gregg County Jail records.

Michael David Bylsma, 42, remained jailed Friday, charged with online solicitation of a minor. Bond information was unavailable. Bylsma’s residence is listed as White Oak by DPS but Karnack in Gregg County Jail records.

“Solicitation of a minor involves a defendant asking or engaging in a conversation with a minor and during the course of that conversation, the defendant asks (or solicits) the minor to meet them for the purpose of engaging in a sexual act,” DPS said in the statement.

Montgomery stepped down from his post Friday as news spread about his arrest. According to the city of Athens website, his term was set to end in 2023.

City officials said they will appoint an interim mayor within the month.

The city released a statement early Friday that says city officials were shocked to learn about Montgomery’s arrest.

“These are very serious allegations and the City of Athens does not take them lightly,” the statement said. “We are committed to the protection and safety of our children. The City Council will be considering all possible actions as details become available.”

Government Forces Fight Back ISIS Attacks In Central Syria

Over the past 24 hours, the Syrian Army and its allies have engaged in a series of encounters with ISIS terrorists in the central part of Syria.

In particular, pro-ISIS sources claim that ISIS militants ambushed a vehicle of Iranian-backed fighters in the countryside of Palmyra killing 2 of them.

Separately, ISIS reportedly carried out a series of IED attacks on government forces near the towns of al-Samiyah and al-Sukhnah. Anti-government sources claim that at least two officers – a lieutenant colonel and a major – were killed in these attacks.

Sporadic clashes between the Syrian Army and ISIS militants were also reported near Itriyah and al-Mayadin. The pro-opposition outlet ‘Syrian Observatory for Human Rights’ claimed that 5 soldiers and 2 ISIS members were killed in clashes near Mayadeen.

The sabotage of the Syrian reconciliation process by particular foreign powers involved in the conflict remains among the key factors fueling instability in the central Syrian desert. As long as the Damascus government has to deal with various foreign aggressors trying to fully destroy Syrian statehood, it has little resources to contribute to comprehensive and costly security measures needed to get rid of security threats in desert areas.

Former British Minister: ‘Israelis Think They Control the Foreign Office. And They do!’

Matt Kennard reports on revelations of Israeli state influence on U.K. politics in Alan Duncan’s recently published diaries.

From revelations about Israeli efforts to “destroy” him, to attempts by a powerful pro-Israel lobby group to stop him becoming a minister for the Middle East, Sir Alan Duncan saw up close the power of the Israeli state in British politics during his time at the heart of the U.K. government.

Duncan served as British foreign minister from 2016-19, having previously held the international development brief. His new book, In The Thick Of It, reveals much about U.K. government policy that has been missed by the British press and broadcasters.

At the beginning of 2017, media outlet Al Jazeera contacted Duncan to inform him about its undercover investigation into Israeli influence in U.K. politics, which included revelations related to him personally.

Duncan wrote in his diary that Al Jazeera “has footage of diplomats from the Israeli embassy in London collaborating with MPs from both Labour and Conservatives on Israel.” He said this included Shai Masot, a diplomat from the Israeli embassy “calling for them to destroy the ‘Deputy Foreign Minister’ (i.e. me), so that he never becomes Foreign Secretary.”

Duncan added: “They say that if [then foreign secretary] Boris [Johnson] were to be sacked, I’d take over and so both such moments have to be stopped.”

Days later, Duncan went to the Foreign Office to brief Simon McDonald, who was then running the department, on the revelations.

Duncan wrote: “I teasingly remind him of what happened and what I said to him on my first day as minister. ‘Simon… didn’t I tell you? The CFI and the Israelis think they control the Foreign Office. And they do!’”

The CFI is Conservative Friends of Israel, a powerful Westminster lobby group that does not disclose its funders but has claimed 80 percent of Conservative MPs are members.

‘They Shouldn’t Behave Like This’

On the same day, Duncan spoke on the phone to Mark Regev, then Israel’s ambassador to Britain. According to Duncan, Regev told him Masot is a “local hire, works in a junior capacity and does not have diplomatic status.”

“It’s all total bollocks,” Duncan wrote. “Masot is a First or Second Secretary, a member of military intelligence, employed specifically as a parliamentary and undercover propagandist.”

He continued: “What on earth is the point of Regev stating something that is so blatantly untrue, and about which we both hold the facts? What a muppet.”

Duncan then briefed Boris Johnson who was “indignant”.

“‘They shouldn’t behave like this,’ [Johnson] exclaimed, though I’d told him a million times that they do.”

Duncan confided that he withheld some information from Johnson: “The Al Jazeera tapes essentially say that I run the [Foreign Office], BoJo is an idiot, I take the serious decisions, and if anything happens to Boris I will become Foreign Secretary and so I must be destroyed. It’s a poor reading of the facts – indeed, it’s balls – but it gives a useful insight into Israel’s mentality.”

The Al Jazeera documentary also uncovered the degree of Israeli state influence over the opposition Labour Party.

In a conversation filmed outside a London pub, Michael Rubin, the parliamentary officer for Labour Friends of Israel (LFI), which counts dozens of Labour MPs as either “officers” or “supporters,” revealed the close links between the group and the Israeli embassy in London.

Rubin said that he and Shai Masot “work really closely together… but a lot of it is behind the scenes.” He added that “the [Israeli] embassy helps us quite a lot. When bad stories come out about Israel, the embassy sends us information so that we can counter it.”

Biden Is Carrying Out the New 'War on Terror' Right Under Our Noses

After the Capitol riot, Democrats who had ignored the violence of antifa and Black Lives Matter over the past year suddenly got religion when it comes to fighting domestic terrorism. Yet after the initial push, the issue seemed to fall into the background as Americans focus on the border, infrastructure, and other issues. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has set the gears in motion.

Late last month, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under Biden issued a memo warning that “events associated with the 100th anniversary of the [Tulsa Race Massacre]…probably are attractive targets for some racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist-white supremacists to commit violence.”

A DHS spokesperson admitted that there were no specific or credible threats to justify the warning, but DHS issued it, anyway. No violent white supremacists went on any mass rampages on the anniversary of the massacre, however.

This was far from the first time DHS issued such a warning. Back on January 14, numerous federal agencies warned about potential violence in Washington, D.C., and all fifty state capitols as “extremists” might protest Biden’s inauguration. That did not come to pass. On January 27, DHS warned about a “heightened threat environment across the United States that is likely to persist over the coming weeks” from “ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority.” That threat also failed to materialize.

On May 14, DHS yet again warned about right-wing violence aimed at “higher-capacity targets,” supposedly exacerbated by the lifting of COVID-19 lockdowns. That also failed to happen.

As Glenn Greenwald noted, these vague threat assessments echo the first War on Terror. “They are just generalized warnings designed to put people in fear about their fellow citizens and to justify aggressive deployment of military and law enforcement officers in Washington, D.C. and throughout the country.”

“Americans have seen this scam before. Throughout the first War on Terror, DHS, which was created in 2002, was frequently used to keep fear levels high and thus foster support for draconian government powers of spying, detention, and war,” Greenwald noted.

Biden has called for new laws against domestic terrorism, which would enable the federal government to continue its anti-terror tactics, but applied to American citizens who disagree with his leftist agenda.

Even in lieu of such laws, the Biden administration is already waging a new War on Terror that has largely flown under the radar. Last month, CNN reported that “the Biden administration is considering using outside firms to track extremist chatter by Americans online, an effort that would expand the government’s ability to gather intelligence but could draw criticism over surveillance of US citizens.”

Ironically, the same Democratic Party that spent last summer denouncing the police approved $1.9 billion in additional spending for Capitol security and police. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-N.Y.) “Squad” had the power to stop the funding and give teeth to their “Defund the Police” agenda, but half of them instead voted “present,” ensuring the bill’s passage.

Spanish Police Dismantle Network That Trafficked Black Cocaine

Spanish police announced on Tuesday that they have dismantled “one of the largest cocaine distribution networks” in Spain’s northern region of Castilla y León, arresting three people, including the group’s leader, and seizing 862kg of black cocaine disguised as coal.

The “unprecedented procedure” of concealing the drug import involved a “complex chemical process” that would camouflage the narcotic to look like charcoal; a process used by Mexican and Colombian cartels who allegedly supplied the main suspect.

The arrests follow a year-long investigation involving over 50 Spanish and Portugese law enforcement agents that began with a real estate company in 2020. Police were alerted by its involvement in “suspicious imports” by sea that had “little or nothing to do with its corporate purpose,” the statement said.

This led investigators to uncover a “complex network of companies” that used “numerous front men” to cover up the true purpose of the network. One of the companies supposedly importing charcoal was tested by Portugese authorities, and was found to contain positive traces of cocaine.

“The drug arrived and could not be practically detected as it had a shape and color very similar to charcoal. In addition, the characteristic smell of cocaine was eliminated, so it could not be detected by sniffer dogs,” the statement added.

In addition to concealing the cocaine as charcoal, traffickers also managed to evade detection by hiding only a number of bags containing cocaine among a much larger number of bags containing legitimate imports. For example, out of 1,364 bags in one import, only 30 contained drugs, the statement said.

“This operation is highly significant for law enforcement agencies, not only because it involves the arrest of a historic drug trafficker, but also because it marks one of the largest cocaine seizures recorded in Castilla y León, and because of the uncovering of a new modus operandi that was, until now, unknown,” the statement added.

3,000 Junior Doctors in India's Madhya Pradesh State Resign as Govt Fails to Pay Enough Salary

Madhya Pradesh, one of the most COVID-affected Indian states, is now reeling under another crisis as junior doctors of six government medical colleges have resigned en masse. The doctors have made various demands over the past six months but not enough of them have been met.

Nearly 3,000 junior doctors in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh have resigned from their posts after the state's High Court on Thursday termed their four-day strike "illegal" and directed them to resume duties within 24 hours.

The junior doctors in the state have raised several demands, including a hike in stipend and free treatment for them and their families in the event that they contract COVID-19. They have been on a strike since 31 May.

The president of the Junior Doctors Association of Madhya Pradesh, Arvind Meena, told media that the doctors submitted their resignations to the deans of their respective colleges.

The doctors are reportedly refusing to work at the Out-Patient Departments (OPDs), the In-Patient Departments (IPDs) and other wards of various healthcare facilities, until they see their needs met..

Madhya Pradesh Health Minister Vishvas Sarang declared that the strike and mass resignation of the doctors is irrational.

“We have already agreed to some of the demands of the junior doctors. Free treatment for them, as well as their kin, was being provided and even beds were earmarked for them. We have also increased the stipend. But not all of their demands are rational. They are saying that they won’t take posting in the rural areas which is completely irrational. They need to understand that being a doctor, they need to serve humanity. So, I would say that they should respect the decision of the Madhya Pradesh High Court and resume their duties”, the minister added.

Dr. Shankul Dwivedi, the National Joint Secretary of Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors Network, told Sputnik: “We want written assurance that the government is agreeing to our demands. The government is only highlighting that the doctors are demanding a hike in stipend.”

“The Kamal Nath government (the previous state government) had promised a 6 percent annual hike, now the government should fulfill it.”

Clarifying the stand on rural posts, he added: “Since we have catered to rural as well as urban population during the pandemic in the last one year so that period should be deducted from the service bond.”

A candidate who takes admission in any government medical college must sign a service bond. According to the service bond, the candidate must serve in rural areas or government service for a certain period of time after completion of the course.

Among other demands, the doctors also want a police station to be set up near COVID hospitals to ensure the security of medical staff.

Madhya Pradesh has reported over 7.8 million COVID-19 cases and more than 8,500 people have succumbed to the deadly virus.

The Notorious London Spy School Churning Out the World’s Top Journalists

LONDON — In a previous investigation, MintPress News explored how one university department, the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, functions as a school for spooks. Its teaching posts are filled with current or former NATO officials, army officers and intelligence operatives to churn out the next generation of spies and intelligence officers. However, we can now reveal an even more troubling product the department produces: journalists. An inordinate number of the world’s most influential reporters, producers and presenters, representing many of the most well-known and respected outlets — including The New York Times, CNN and the BBC — learned their craft in the classrooms of this London department, raising serious questions about the links between the fourth estate and the national security state.

National security school

Increasingly, it appears, intelligence agencies the world over are beginning to appreciate agents with a strong academic background. A 2009 study published by the CIA described how beneficial it is to “use universities as a means of intelligence training,” writing that, “exposure to an academic environment, such as the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, can add several elements that may be harder to provide within the government system.”

The paper, written by two King’s College staffers, boasted that the department’s faculty has “extensive and well-rounded intelligence experience.” This was no exaggeration. Current Department of War Studies educators include the former Secretary General of NATO, former U.K. Minister of Defense, and military officers from the U.K, U.S. and other NATO countries. “I deeply appreciate the work that you do to train and to educate our future national security leaders, many of whom are in this audience,” said then-U.S. Secretary of Defense (and former CIA Director) Leon Panetta in a speech at the department in 2013.

King’s College London also admits to having a number of ongoing contracts with the British state, including with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), but refuses to divulge the details of those agreements.

American connections

Although a British university, King’s College markets itself heavily to American students. There are currently 1,265 Americans enrolled, making up about 4% of the student body. Many graduates of the Department of War Studies go on to attain powerful positions in major American media outlets. Andrew Carey, CNN’s Bureau Chief in Jerusalem, for example, completed a master’s there in 2012. Carey’s coverage of the latest Israeli attack on Gaza has presented the apartheid state as “responding” to Hamas rocket attacks, rather than being the instigator of violence. A leaked internal memo Carey sent to his staff last month at the height of the bombardment instructed them to always include the fact that the Gazan Ministry of Health is overseen by Hamas, lest readers begin to believe the well-documented Palestinian casualty figures brought on by days of bombing. “We need to be transparent about the fact that the Ministry of Health in Gaza is run by Hamas. Consequently, when we cite latest casualty numbers and attribute to the health ministry in Gaza, we need to include the fact that it is Hamas run,” read his instructions.

Anti-vaccination protestors arrested in Melbourne

Several anti-vaccination protestors were arrested after staging small demonstrations in Melbourne's CBD today.

The series of planned rallies outside of vaccination hubs failed to draw big crowds.

About two dozen people were at a rally outside of Flinders Street Station where some were arrested for refusing to wear masks despite repeated warnings.

It is believed a small business protest was hijacked by the demonstrators.

Meanwhile, there was a strong police presence at the Royal Exhibition Building, but only a few protestors were present while hundreds of people lined up to get their vaccination.

Police said two were arrested and 16 penalty notices were issued.

A 48-year-old man was arrested outside St Paul's Cathedral after failing to provide his name and address.

The Caroline Springs man has been charged with three counts of resist arrest and two counts of breaching the Chief Health Officer's directions.

He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on October 28.

Police also arrested a 33-year-old man outside Flinders Street Station after failing to provide his name and address.

The Mernda man may be summonsed to appear at court at a later date pending enquiries.

Eleven people were issued with penalty notices for travelling outside their 10 -kilometre radius under the Chief Health Officer's directions.

Three people were fined for failing to wear a mask.

Regional Victoria came out of lockdown at midnight yesterday. Melbourne residents will be another week under stay-at-home orders.

Conflict of interest? Fauci’s wife runs bioethics department at NIH

As Chief of the Department of Bioethics at the NIH, Fauci’s wife, Dr. Christine Grady, is responsible for guiding the ‘ethics’ of the government organization’s work. She is also Head of the Section on Human Subjects Research. Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is a division of the NIH.

BETHESDA, Maryland, June 4 (LifeSiteNews) – Dr. Anthony Fauci’s wife, Dr. Christine Grady, heads the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and has quietly become a key figure in medical research and medical ethics in America.

Christine Grady married Dr. Anthony Fauci in 1985, and together they worked on the AIDS crisis during the 1980s. Grady, 68, is a nurse-bioethicist and a senior investigator who is now Chief of the Department of Bioethics at the NIH, and also Head of the Section on Human Subjects Research.

Having moved to the NIH clinical center in 1983, Grady also worked with NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), although never as part of that division, which her husband runs.

In addition to her work at the NIH, Grady is also a senior research fellow at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and an elected fellow of the Hastings Center and the American Academy of Nursing.

She received the NIH director’s award four times between 1999 and 2017. Along with being a part of numerous other task forces, Grady acted as a member of President Barack Obama’s Presidential Commission for study of bioethical issues from 2010-2017.

Already in 1997, Grady’s role in the bioethics department involved her participation in the Institutional Review Board of clinical protocols, informing and advising health officials in the establishment of policy, particularly members of the NIH. The department itself was founded in 1996, and Grady made its head in 2012, having been deputy director since 1996.

Meanwhile, Fauci was appointed as Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in 1984, one year after Grady joined the NIH, and one year before they married.

Grady’s NIH and Fauci’s NIAID

NIAID “conducts and supports basic and applied research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases.” Indeed, among the 27 comprising institutes and centers of the NIH, NIAID has the “unique mandate” to “respond to emerging public health threats.”

In its research and operation, the NIAID is guided by the ethics of the NIH. This means essentially that Grady’s decisions on ethics are intimately linked to, and inform her husband’s decisions on vaccine research and development. The NIAID participated in the development of COVID-19 vaccines (namely the Moderna jab), and the trialing of the vaccines.

One of the most controversial projects in which NIH has been involved has been the creation of “humanized mice,” transplanting into mice tissue from aborted babies.

And now, as Elle gushingly reported, Grady is “spearheading research into the ethics of America's COVID-19 response.”

However, despite the NIH developing and giving the ethical green light to coronavirus injections – particularly Moderna’s, which was made with help by NIAID scientists – the number of deaths and adverse reactions continue to grow each week following administration of the injection.

Westchester school principal made employee take racy pictures: lawsuit

Say cheesy.

A Yonkers school worker was forced to take raunchy photos of her principal posing in a thong at school — and store the shots on her cell phone, along with penis pics and other illicit images, an explosive federal lawsuit alleges.

The principal enlisted the underling’s help in order to hide the sexy snaps from her husband and save them for her lover, the school secretary and her attorney told The Post.

Gisselle Vasquez, a 35-year-old single mom, was hired as a Spanish-speaking secretary for Principal Evelina Medina, 42, at the Robert C. Dodson School, an 865-student magnet school five minutes from Scarsdale. But Medina soon pushed her to do far more than clerical work, the Manhattan federal court papers claim.

On May 24, 2018, Medina texted Vasquez a photo of a man lying in bed in his underwear, and instructed Vasquez to save the photo for her on her own phone, court papers state.

“To this day I don’t understand what would make her so comfortable to ask me to do that for her,” Vasquez told The Post, explaining that the women were not friends. “I wondered if I don’t do this what would be the repercussions for me at work. I’m a single parent and I thought what would happen if I said no.”

The next day, Medina ushered the secretary into the school office and ordered her to take a photo of her. “She hands me the phone and says, ‘Close the door,'” Vasquez told The Post.

“Medina then proceeded to lower her pants to her ankles, turned around and exposed her buttocks in thong underwear and posed,” according to court papers.

In early May, the announcement that Bill and Melinda Gates would be divorcing after 27 years of marriage shocked both those that praise and those that loathe the "philanthropic" power couple.

Less than a week after the initial announcement of the divorce, on May 7, the Daily Beast reported that Melinda Gates had allegedly been "deeply troubled" by Bill Gates's relationship with child sex trafficker and intelligence asset Jeffrey Epstein. The report suggested that Melinda was a major reason for her husband's decision to distance himself from Epstein around 2014 because of her discomfort with Epstein after they both met him in 2013. That previously unreported meeting had taken place at Epstein's mansion on New York's Upper East Side.

The Daily Beast also revealed that the details of the Gates's divorce had been decided several weeks prior to the official announcement. Then, on May 9, the Wall Street Journal published a report suggesting that the plans for divorce went back even farther, with Melinda having consulted divorce lawyers in 2019. Allegedly, that consultation was made after details of Bill Gates's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein had gained considerable mainstream media attention, including from the New York Times.

While mainstream media outlets apparently agree that Jeffrey Epstein was a likely factor in the Gates's recently announced split up, what these same outlets refuse to cover is the real extent of the Bill Gates-Jeffrey Epstein relationship. Indeed, the mainstream narrative holds that Gates's ties to Epstein began in 2011, despite the evidence pointing to their relationship beginning decades earlier.

This blanket refusal to honestly report on the Gates-Epstein ties likely is due to Gates's outsized role in current events, both in terms of global health policy as it relates to COVID-19 and in his being a major promoter and funder of controversial technocratic "solutions" to a slew of societal problems. What is more likely, however, is that the nature of the relationship between Gates and Epstein before 2011 is even more scandalous than what transpired later, and it may have major implications not just for Gates but for Microsoft as a company and for some of its former top executives.

This particular cover-up is part of an obvious tendency of mainstream media to ignore the clear influence that both Epstein and members of the Maxwell family wielded — and, arguably, continue to wield — in Silicon Valley. Indeed, the individuals who founded tech giants such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Microsoft, Tesla, and Amazon all have connections with Jeffrey Epstein, some closer than others.

The Evening Standard mystery

In 2001, perhaps the most important article ever written about Jeffrey Epstein was published. The article, which focused mainly on Ghislaine Maxwell's and Epstein's relationship with Prince Andrew, was published Jan. 22, 2001, in London's Evening Standard. The article, written by Nigel Rosser, was never retracted and was published well before Epstein's first arrest and the onset of his public notoriety. It has, nevertheless, since been removed from the Evening Standard's website and can now only be found on professional newspaper databases. I made a PDF of that article and several other scrubbed Epstein-related articles publicly available in October 2019.

Key statements made in the article make it clear why it was removed from the internet, apparently in the wake of Epstein's first arrest in Florida. Rosser introduces Epstein as "an immensely powerful New York property developer and financier," a nod to Epstein's past in the New York real estate market. Later in the article, he notes that Epstein "once claimed to have worked for the CIA although he now denies it," one of several likely reasons why the article was removed from the internet well before Epstein's second arrest in 2019.

‘You couldn’t make it up if you tried’: Twitter censors at home, but calls access to platform a ‘human right’ in Nigeria

Twitter is very concerned about its recent blocking in Nigeria, calling the free and open internet an “essential human right.” Back in the US, commentators pointed out, Twitter doesn’t care as much about this “right.”

Nigeria’s government “indefinitely” banned Twitter on Friday, after the US tech giant temporarily suspended President Muhammadu Buhari for a tweet promising a crackdown on armed separatists. Telecoms networks in the West African nation began enforcing the ban on Saturday morning, according to multiple media reports.

“We are deeply concerned by the blocking of Twitter in Nigeria,” the company stated on Saturday. “Access to the free and #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society.”

Twitter added that it would “work to restore access for all those in Nigeria who rely on Twitter to communicate and connect with the world.”

However Twitter’s recent actions in the US reveal a corporation much less concerned with its users’ ability to “communicate with the world” – especially if those users challenge the Democrat-supporting, Silicon Valley orthodoxy. The deadly China coronavirus that started in China sometime in late 2019 has now circled the globe. Evidence suggests that the coronavirus was not from a wet market but came from a lab in Wuhan. We still don’t know whether the deadly virus was leaked intentionally or if it was an accident.

But we do know that the Chinese did attempt to market a cure for the coronavirus to the world in January after the virus began to spread.

We reported four days ago that in late March FOX News host Tucker Carlson reported on a CHINESE study in the Western press on the origin of the novel coronavirus. The study concluded the deadly virus came out of local laboratories in Hubei Province. The smoking gun in the study was the viral link to horseshoe bats which are not sold in local wet markets and are not native to Wuhan. In fact the closest colony is 900 kilometers away. There is no evidence horseshoe bats were sold in the Wuhan wet markets. The local labs used this bat specimen and the virus likely came from a lab in Wuhan.

According to the report the coronavirus came from either the Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention or Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.

These reports linking bats to the coronavirus started making the rounds back in January. A research paper published in the Wuhan Centre for Disease Control and Prevention determined the source of the coronavirus is a laboratory near the Seafood Market in Wuhan.

This past Monday The Gateway Pundit reported that the China coronavirus has connections to former leader of the Chinese Communist Party, Jiang Zemin. For starters, Jiang is the grandfather of Jiang Zhicheng, who has a controlling interest in WuXi AppTec, which controls Fosun Pharma.
