Wrong, most of the Swiss Army Soldiers get a SIG550, called STGW90, Sturmgewehr 90.
Swiss Army Soldiers take there personal STGW90 at home until there next WK, Wiederholungskurs = Repetition Course.
After the Service as a Soldier you can sell your personal STGW90 or you can give it back, as i did.
Nobody in Switzerland MUST OWN a gun.
If you like to OWN a gun, you have to have a gunowner certificate.
