What if Fauci is just another Chinese useful idiot? It's more likely that Fauci just simply and naively believes his Chinese counterpart scientists than it is he's part of a world-ending cabal who intended to wipe out humans.
He's just another elitist who believes he's smarter than every one else and could never have been taken for a fool.

1 - I would submit that most of those in congress and influential liberals supporting open-border and other liberal agendas do so by way of legitimizing their kick-backs and crimes. They truly have convinced themselves that cheating, lying and receiving bribes to create policies that help China is just fine as long as they destroy the "evil conservatives". They really have convinced themselves that they are above all and anything they do to "save the earth" must be benevolent irrespective of the medium with which they execute it.
