I believe it's about "waking up" as many of us seekers as possible, as a metaphor. When a tipping point is reached, there is nothing that the awakened cannot accomplish together. What does the metaphor mean though? Does it just mean knowing specifics about how the world is all messed up and getting worse every year, or is it more about helping each person obtain actual empowerment and the ability to create change?
Think what is it like to be asleep in bed. And think of a person with bad intent standing over a sleeping person. The sleeper is unaware, powerless, incapable of action, unproductive, completely vulnerable. Not much different than someone in a coma. If also dreaming, the sleeper is fully experiencing in his mind something other than the reality of the physical world, but during that time it is his entire reality. It could be a nightmare or a fantasy, but it seems like his reality to him.
Compare that to being awake, when he can physically take action, protect himself and others, get work done, collaborate with people, give love, sing, play, laugh, learn, grow, pray, plan, meditate, research, write, achieve, forgive, apologize, repent, improve, etc. And awake, he can carry out the tasks that God put him here for, and help others to do so.
So as much as "The Geat Awakening" is about stopping crime and exposing corruption in politics, media, entertainment, and business, it's about our own personal progress of incrementally becoming more aware, capable, productive, experienced, confident, connected to God, and connected to each other. That is the part of the plan we each can take care of in our own lives, which will also contribute exponentially to the huge societal changes and criminal justice worldwide.
