If you can find any veterans of the early 80s gay community (there are survivors out there but I doubt too many), they will tell you all about Fauci's shenanigans during the Reagan administration.
They saw their friends/lovers dying from the AZT Fauci was foisting on them and they also knew there were legit treatments that were being denied to them because of Fauci's policies. They rightly considered him a mass murderer, and this was 35 years ago.
Ironically, they thought that if a Dem president would chase Reagan out of the WH, Fauci's policies would be overturned and they could get real treatment. They considered him a tool of the GOP.
Well, fast forward to 2020 and suddenly Fauci is the darling of the Dem Party. It left a lot of the older gay men shaking their heads.
It won't be surprising if we eventually find out that Fauci played a role in creating HIV too….
Now there's a novel way to get the hell out of Dodge when running from the law.

I have read this too and it makes me think they are trying to get the species homo sapiens to revert to an earlier, more primitive hominid form. Something dumber and easier to manage.
