First day and only day last year, put a bandanna over my nose and mouth and walked right up to a local policeman i have a friendly acquaintance with, and asked him if he was sure it was what he really wanted the future to look like. He was insistent that people needed to wear them, and that they (we the people) just needed to comply.
Gave him a serious piece of my mind and warned him how astonishingly stupid he was being.
Hasn’t spoken to me since.

Well, since you asked.
Because most of the police, sheriff’s deputies, MIL and other various LEOs are from and live within and around my community. I KNOW many of them have already been grossly indoctrinated against the Constitution and civility, and FEW are able to see it in themselves. The mind bending is very deep with a slight-of-hand where LEOs often have a very hard time understanding they are ‘enforcing’ against their own, family and friends best interests. Often, they see in themselves and are encouraged too often by too many, with Blue line flags (adulterated American flags) to believe their uniform carries extra value, magical powers and some special higher placement in society.
I’m the silly guy in the neighborhood who dares to remind them otherwise with genuine care and human respect, at great risk to myself.
