Smart enough to hack a pipeline. Dumb enough to use… Bitcoin?

1 month ago hackers took over the largest gas pipeline in the US. This pipeline spans 5,000 miles and transfers millions of barrels each day.

I’m no hacker but common sense would say to pull this off you would have some serious tech experience.

So you shut down an industry that prints money but your ransom to get it back on is 5,000,000 in Bitcoin? Problems…

  1. Does 5 mil not seem EXTREMELY low?

  1. Bitcoin is TRACEABLE. IF you were able to pull off this hack you would definitely know this and use a privacy coin like Monero.

  1. Not only did they not store the paid ransom on a private wallet (meaning no one can get it without a quantum computer.) They stores it on an open exchange!!! The FBI seizes the server of said exchange and confiscated the $.

Conclusion. These are the dumbest hackers that ever lived. OR it’s an inside job. It was coordinated. Who stands to gain here is the real question. What are we being conditioned for???

The World Economic Forum is running a widespread cyber attack “exercise” on July 9th.

Will this be just like their pandemic “exercise” that took place two months before the covid outbreak?
