>Though "foo fighter" initially described a type of UFO reported and named by the U.S. 415th Night Fighter Squadron, the term was also commonly used to mean any UFO sighting from that period"
Foo Fighters (from the French word Feu (fire) were literally orbs that appeared to be "balls of fire"
Last week's news article about Navy radar detecting multiple "6-foot diameter self-illumanted craft" made me wonder if they were describing Foo Fighters,
but not wanting to connect them to their 75+ years of known existence
A military flight that reported a foo-fighter type incident (flaming orb) over the Mediterranean Sea in the 90's… the Pentagon tried to make them believe they had seen
a rocket from Italian farmers trying to seed the clouds for rain. The flaming orb was travelling horizontally (at 30,000+ feet), not parabolically, and maneuvered when it got near the military plane.
