It is what they voted for

State-Sanctioned Camping

As the novel coronavirus recedes into the horizon, the city government opted to pursue state-sanctioned tent cities in affluent neighborhoods, much to the frustration of their progressive residents. City Council passed more than $24 million over three resolutions in February for programs addressing homelessness. The Colorado Village Collaborative landed $900,000 from the pot to construct new tent cities to house 100 families, branded as “Safe Outdoor Spaces.”

In May, locals in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood, where two in three voted for Joe Biden in November, sued to keep one such space from launching in their streets. The Denver District Court dismissed the lawsuit days later to pave the way for the tent city to open by June in the parking lot of Park Hill United Methodist Church.

Democrats say: We need change !

https://freebeacon.com/politics/white-man-black-face/

The Washington Post, a politics blog owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, declined to back any of the black candidates for governor, endorsing McAuliffe in the primary.

During his first term as governor, McAuliffe was instrumental in persuading Amazon to locate its second headquarters in Arlington, Va., one of the wealthiest municipalities in the country. McAuliffe lured the controversial trillion-dollar company to the state in part by offering tax incentives worth up to $750 billion.

The Post‘s endorsement, which made no mention of the Amazon deal, was not the first time the politics blog had embraced a white politician in a controversial and racially charged fashion. In 2019, the blog's editorial board demanded Northam's resignation after the governor admitted to wearing either blackface or a Ku Klux Klan hood in a photo published in his medical school yearbook. Less than a year later, the Post published a second editorial recanting its call for Northam's resignation.

The Democratic Party has a history of backing white candidates at the expense of qualified minorities.

Gosiame Thamara Sithole from Gauteng in South Africa delivered her decuplets (10 babies) by a caesarean section in Pretoria on Monday.

She has broken the record previously held by Malian Halima Cissé, who gave birth to nine children (nonuplets) in Morocco in May.

Sithole, 37, a retail store manager, had six-year-old twins before her new birth.

She said her conception was natural.

Her unemployed husband Tebogo Tsotetsi could not conceal his joy as he said he “felt like one of God’s chosen children.”

The Office of Management and Budget and heads of federal agencies will be responsible for enforcing an Executive Order issued Wednesday that will revoke Trump-era bans on TikTok and WeChat.

According to the order, agencies must rescind the requirements and abolish the positions, committees and task forces created by three Trump administration executive orders pertaining to software developed by Chinese companies.

The executive order represents the Biden administration’s move to develop its own framework for assessing threats posed by software connected to foreign adversaries like China, which can be used to collect “vast swaths of information” from the personal electronic devices of users.
