Okay I’ve gotta say something about the housing market here as I’ve been involved with it since early March. My wife and I are closing on a new home this coming Friday. Housing values are up, including our current home, and the competition is fierce. Housing supply is low. We’ve lost out on one home because someone came in with a higher offer and it was a cash offer. It’s just the supply and demand law. We’re planning to put our current home on the market within the next month and we’re hoping the high home values will benefit us when we sell. I don’t know if/when this will change, but hopefully not before we sell our house.
