TikTok Global Ops Chief Is Former Chinese Communist Party Diplomat.

TikTok’s Global Operations Manager is a former Chinese Communist Party diplomat who served in the regime’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and embassies.

Tamer Tang identifies himself as TikTok’s Global Operations Manager, a position he’s held since August 2018, on LinkedIn. He was previously a direct employee of the Chinese Communist Party, serving as an attaché at China’s Egyptian Embassy from 2015 to 2018 and a secretary at the regime’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture from 2014 to 2015.

TikTok hired Tang – who counts no other employers besides the Chinese Communist Party – immediately after he departed the Chinese Embassy in Egypt.

This connection, unearthed by The National Pulse, follows reporting on TikTok hiring a Tehran-based Chinese Communist Party diplomat to regulate the app’s content in 2020.

These revelations come as no surprise: the app censors content that undermines Chinese Communist Party narratives, and its founder has pledged to use his platform to “promote socialist core values” and devotion to the Chinese government.

After one of his apps was banned by the Chinese government, former TikTok CEO Zhang Yiming promised that his future endeavors – such as TikTok – would “integrate the right values into technology and products.” To do so, his first pledge was to “strengthen party building” by “enhancing education of all the staff on the four consciousness, socialist core values, public opinion guidance, as well as laws and regulations” along with “further deepening cooperation with authoritative media, improving distribution of authoritative media content, and ensuring the effective dissemination of authoritative voices.”

Zhang also promised to “set up an expert group on content supervision” with “National Party Congress representatives and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference members” in attendance.

The company also admits to granting priority to Chinese Communist Party members in their hiring process.

In a job posting for a “content review editor,” ByteDance declared “Communist Party members would be considered first” and described its ideal employee as someone who “loves reading news, cares about current affairs, and has good political sensitivity and judgment.”

81 arrested in Austria as part of global sting operation that saw FBI monitor chat app used by criminal gangs

Dozens of organized crime suspects have been arrested in a series of raids across Austria, the Ministry of the Interior has said. The crackdown was part of a global sting that lured criminals into using a monitored chat app.

“The aim of this operation was to deal a massive blow to organized crime and it succeeded,” Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said at a news conference on Wednesday.

In what was dubbed ‘Operation Achilles’, police searched 67 locations and arrested 81 people. The raids spanned from Tyrol in the Alpine and Salzburg to Vienna and the eastern region of Lower Austria. Nehammer said suspects were involved in drug and arms trafficking, among other crimes.

More than 700 kilos of drugs were seized along with 35 firearms and roughly €650,000 ($792,000) in cash.

Franz Ruf, the head of public security at the Ministry of the Interior, told the media that a man wanted in Serbia for three murders was among those arrested.

Nehammer said that the success of the operation has highlighted the importance of international cooperation, and authorities should focus on breaking the “business model” of organized crime.

Achilles was part of the larger Operation Trojan Shield that began three years ago as an FBI sting. Agents flooded the black market with mobile devices equipped with a supposedly highly secured encrypted chat app that became popular with various criminal syndicates. The FBI then monitored the messages sent through the app, in which criminals openly discussed things like smuggling, armed robberies and assassinations.

The operation, which has since evolved into a joint effort of 16 nations, has led to the arrest of more than 800 people, according to Europol. The raids were carried out in countries including Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

Building collapses onto road in S Korea, hitting bus & leaving 9 dead, 8 injured

A five-story building which was being demolished has collapsed onto a main road and hit a bus in the South Korean city of Gwangju, killing nine people and seriously injuring eight others, local authorities have said.

Dramatic CCTV footage from the southwestern city showed the moment the block toppled onto the bus, which had pulled up at a stop near the construction site.

The National Fire Agency received an emergency call at around 4:20pm local time on Wednesday (3:20am ET), later confirming that nine people had died in the incident, the Yonhap news agency reported.

Firefighters initially said two cars may also have been trapped in the rubble, but they later clarified from CCTV footage that the vehicles had escaped disaster by mere moments.

All the fatalities and injured people are reported to be men and women in their 60s, who were traveling on the bus at the time of the incident.

The cause of the collapse has not been confirmed, but daily newspaper The Chosun Ilbo said the building fell after scaffolding supporting the structure gave way.

Some 140 firefighters were called to the construction site, which is reportedly being developed for apartments.

The Gwangju Police Agency has said it will carry out an investigation with forensics officers to determine the cause of the collapse and whether the necessary safety protocols were followed.

178 hospital workers in Texas suspended for refusing to get COVID-19 vaccine

A Houston-based hospital system has suspended 178 employees without pay for two weeks for refusing to get the coronavirus vaccine, according to reports.

Houston Methodist CEO Marc Boom wrote in an internal message obtained by the Washington Post Tuesday that nearly 25,000 of the health care system’s employees were fully vaccinated by Monday’s deadline — but some chose not to comply.

“Of these employees, 27 have received one dose of vaccine, so I am hopeful they will get their second doses soon,” Boom wrote.

“I know that today may be difficult for some who are sad about losing a colleague who’s decided to not get vaccinated. We only wish them well and thank them for their past service to our community, and we must respect the decision they made.”

Another 285 employees got a medical or religious exemption from the vaccine, while 332 workers were given deferrals due to pregnancy or other reasons, Boom wrote.

A group of 117 unvaccinated staffers at Houston Methodist Hospital sued the hospital system in May, claiming the required vaccinations are an infringement on their rights.

“No one should be forced to put something into their body if they’re not comfortable with it,” said Jennifer Bridges, a Houston Methodist nurse of six-plus years who has long opposed the policy.

Bridges told the Washington Post in May she has objected to getting the shot because vaccines authorized for emergency use nationwide have not been “fully” approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

“I’m not anti-vaccine,” Bridge said last month. “I’ve had every vaccine known to man, except this one. As nurses and medical staff, everybody feels like you should have a right to choose what you put in your body.”

Bridges was among the workers who were suspended Monday, The Texan reported.

The lawsuit against Houston Methodist, filed in state court by Houston-based attorney Jared Woodfill, includes a quote from Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital CEO David Bernard, according to the report.

“100% vaccination is more important than your individual freedom,” the lawsuit reads. “Every one of you is replaceable.”

The lawsuit, initially filed in state court, was reportedly moved last week to federal court.

“We will fight this all the way to the Supreme Court,” Bridges told The Texan Monday. “This is wrongful termination and a violation of our rights.”

Bridges was among dozens who protested the health care system’s policy outside a hospital in Baytown Monday.

Pregnant women in Australia & New Zealand need not wait until after delivery to get Pfizer jab, updated vaccination advice says

Health experts in Australia and New Zealand have recommended offering the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to women at any stage of pregnancy. Previously, only pregnant women at high risk of infection were advised to consider the shot.

The updated medical advice was issued on Wednesday by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), an expert health panel advising the Australian government, and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Noting that “the risk of severe outcomes from Covid-19 is significantly higher for pregnant women and their unborn baby,” a joint statement from the two groups said that: “Global surveillance data from large numbers of pregnant women have not identified any significant safety concerns with mRNA Covid-19 vaccines given at any stage of pregnancy.”

“Furthermore, there is also evidence of antibody in cord blood and breast milk, which may offer protection to infants through passive immunity,” the release said, suggesting that getting a jab during pregnancy could potentially extend a level of temporary immunity to the baby before and after birth.

A separate RANZCOG statement noted that, while the vast majority of infected pregnant women would experience mild or moderate cold/flu-like symptoms, there was also a greater potential risk of complications, including reduced lung function, increased oxygen consumption, and changed immunity.

Previous health advice had recommended that pregnant women at high risk of contracting Covid-19 – such as healthcare workers, or those with medical conditions that made them more vulnerable to the disease – needed to consider seeking vaccination. But there had been a lack of clarity about women who were not at risk of getting sick.

Due to the relatively low prevalence of the disease in Australia, RANZCOG had previously advocated a cautious approach and recommended that pregnant women wait to see what the risks associated with the vaccine were before deciding to get the shot.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand government’s vaccine rollout plan in March had designated pregnant women as a priority group, along with some 1.7 million people who are deemed to be at higher risk if they contract the disease, such as diabetics.

The updated recommendations come at a time when preliminary findings from a recent study of pregnant women who received mRNA Covid vaccines in the third trimester suggested no “obvious safety signals” with regards to pregnancy and infant outcomes.

However, that study of vaccinated pregnant women also cautioned that additional follow-up was required, and called for further investigation of women inoculated earlier in their pregnancies.

Beginning June 13th to June 17th, the Florida Supervisors of Elections, Inc will be holding their bi-annual conference in Tampa, Florida, at the Marriott Hotel located at 505 Water Street. This gathering isn’t open to the public, yet the invitation for the conference shows they are charging Supervisors of Elections and vendors for tickets to come in and participate. Tickets have been sold out for weeks and Florida citizens and voters are excluded from attending despite the fact that Florida Supervisors of Elections are elected officials and thus subject to Florida Sunshine Laws.

According to their website, “The Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) exists to assist its members in conducting fair, honest and accurate elections by providing continuing education and certification programs that encourage the highest level of professionalism; to assist Florida citizens to become better informed about voting and be prepared to participate in the electoral process; and to create a forum where the Supervisors can regularly express their joint opinions on important election issues.”

A person who visits their website, https://www.myfloridaelections.com/, may assume that this organization is the actual Supervisors of Elections or a legitimate Florida government organization. However, further research, reveals that Florida Supervisors of Elections is actually a business masquerading as the actual board itself.

Their website displays the name of the group as Florida Supervisors of Elections, Inc, yet they are marketing themselves on Facebook and via Sunbiz as a non/profit. It begs the question, is this organization of for profit, a non/profit, or both?

They appear to have some elected Supervisors of Elections engaging with them. For instance, the President of this business is Craig Latimer; he also happens to be Hillsborough County’s Supervisor of Elections. Amusingly, Craig Latimer is also a Democrat.

Adding more cause for concern, on their website, the only option the Florida Supervisors of Elections offers for “connecting” with them is a link to their Facebook page. Surely a legitimate elections website would know that not all Floridians have access to Facebook due to Facebook censorship? They don’t seem too concerned about it. Perhaps it’s because Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook provided Supervisors of Elections offices around the country with over $400 Million in donations during the 2020 election year.

Fisher Price executives ignored safety warnings about popular Rock N' Play incline sleeper for a DECADE and only recalled it after 50 infants rolled over and died

Fisher Price executives ignored safety warnings about the company's popular Rock 'n Play incline sleeper for a decade as it raked in $200million before finally recalling the product after more than 50 infants died in it.

That's according to a two-year investigation by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, which culminated on Monday with a hearing where the company's Senior Vice President Chuck Scothon said the true number of deaths is nearly double what the congressional report concluded.

'Today, we are aware of approximately, I believe it is, the number is currently 97 [deaths], although those numbers change as we are also finding that some of the products that had been attributed to the Rock ‘n Play were not Fisher-Price or inclined sleep,' Scothon testified.

The committee's report found Fisher Price didn't properly test the product before releasing it in 2009 and then ignored repeated warnings that was dangerous in the years that followed.

By the time it was recalled in 2019, 50 infants had died after rolling over in the sleeper, according to the congressional report which was released before Scothon testified on Monday.

While the government presses Fisher Price, the company is defending itself against an ongoing federal class action lawsuit, which include at least 23 people.

The lawsuit says Fisher Price marketed the product as a safe way to let babies sleep for prolonged periods of even though the company knew of its dangers.

The Rock ’n Play 'significantly increases the risk that the infant’s head will slip into a dangerous position, tilt to constrict the windpipe and/or cause the infant’s face to become pressed against the padded fabric in the sleeper and block airflow,' the lawsuit says. 'This increases the risk of death by asphyxiation.

'In addition, because (Fisher Price) advises parents to keep babies strapped in restraints overnight while sleeping on an incline, the Rock ’n Play Sleeper increases the infant’s risk of developing flat head (plagiocephaly) and twisted neck (torticollis) syndromes, conditions that often require babies to wear expensive head-molding helmets and undergo costly physical therapy.'

One of the children who died was Sarah Thompson's son Alexander, who would've been 10 years old on Saturday. She shared her story in an emotional video message during the hearing.

When he was three months old in 2011, Sarah said she put Alexander in his Rock 'n Play, helped her older daughter with a toy, went to the bathroom and 10 minutes later found him unresponsive and not breathing.

'For almost a decade, I've had to question why did he die? How did he die?' said Thompson, adding that she trusted Fisher Price and its parent company Mattel.

'Had they just followed the regulations, Alex would still be with us today … Unfortunately, our family has forever changed. We miss him everyday. We have two younger children who still ask about their older brother in heaven.'

Thompson was one of two parents who spoke via a recorded video message during the committee hearing on Monday. The other was Erika Richter, whose daughter Emma died in the Rock 'n Play.

'Life on Earth is tragically short. I choose (to) explore it all and live a life that would make her proud. That little angel change my life forever. I'm always going to be Emma's Mom. Now and forever,' Richter said in a Facebook post.

Committee Chairwoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney said during the hearing, 'What we found is absolutely shocking. It is a national scandal.'

Netanyahu's non-strategy led to 60% nuke enrichment

Former Mossad director Tamir Pardo on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has broken the country’s strategy for dealing with Iran with the support of the US.

Speaking at the Meir Dagan conference at Netanya Academic College, Pardo said it was a massive strategic error for Netanyahu to be in open conflict with the Obama and Biden administrations over Iran.

The former Mossad chief asked how Netanyahu could dare to say Jerusalem will completely ignore Washington, when it is America which provides both the aircraft and the weapons which the Jewish state uses and needs to defend itself.

Pardo said, “we must do everything to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon,” but that it was a mistake for Netanyahu to call it an existential threat as if, should the Islamic Republic someday get such a weapon, all of the Jews would need to flee from the Middle East.

He said that Netanyahu’s policy had helped push the Trump administration to leave the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which now has led to Tehran passing the 60% nuclear enrichment level.

According to Pardo, “Iran never would have dreamed” they would have gotten to this unprecedented high level of uranium enrichment in prior eras, but that the lack of strategy on the part of Israel along with the Trump administration, has led to the ayatollahs being potentially only weeks away from a nuclear weapon.

In contrast, he said that the Sharon and Olmert governments made their primary principle in dealing with Iran to coordinate with the US.

He accused Israel under Netanyahu of having “top notch tactics, but zero strategy.”

Earlier at the conference, former state’s attorney Shai Nitzan said that despite statements by Netanyahu’s defense lawyers, the case against him is nowhere near crashing and that he still “has plenty to worry about.”

Nitzan was responding to a decision on Wednesday by the Jerusalem District Court presiding over Netanyahu’s trial that the prosecution had failed to turn over significant aspects of evidence relevant to the defense.

Further, Netanyahu’s defense team has succeeded in recent weeks in undermining aspects of the credibility of key prosecution witness Ilan Yeshua, the former CEO of Walla.

Yet, Nitzan said that the comments from the judges so far were still narrow criticisms which would not impact the broader verdict, which will depend on around 300 witnesses besides Yeshua.

In addition, he said that Yeshua had scored many strong points against Netanyahu during his direct testimony for the prosecution.

Nitzan also rejected the idea of splitting the powers of the attorney-general, saying that weakening his office could have negative impacts such as what has been seen in the US when former US president Donald Trump fired his attorney-generals at will.

Also at the conference, former police chief Roni Alsheich said that Public Security Minister Amir Ohana has crossed redlines interfering with non-political professional aspects of the running of the police.

Alsheich said that, “I hear lines have been crossed, I am extremely worried,” about such interference.

Soros-Backed Group Plans ‘Third Reconstruction’ Push

Group sets sights on Manchin in effort to abolish ICE, advance reparations and single-payer health care

A left-wing advocacy group funded by George Soros and backed by 30 House Democrats is planning a yearlong campaign for a "Third Reconstruction" that includes abolishing ICE, expanding welfare for illegal immigrants, and removing criminal penalties for violent protesters.

The Poor People’s Campaign, which received a grant from the Soros-backed Open Society Foundations following the death of George Floyd as part of the organization’s $220 million "anti-racist" initiative, held a Day of Action on Monday to kick off its crusade. The group counts Democratic Reps. Cori Bush (D., Mo.), Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), and Jamie Raskin (D., Md.) as top supporters, with the "Third Reconstruction" described to the Washington Free Beacon by a senior GOP Senate aide as the "next Green New Deal."

Neither the Poor People's Campaign nor the Open Society Foundations returned requests for comment.

In a release announcing the grant, which reached the Poor People's Campaign through one of its "anchor organizations," the Open Society Foundations touted groups "fighting for an end to policing as we know it." Alex Soros, deputy chair of the Open Society Foundations, added, "This is the time for urgent and bold action to address racial injustice in America."

The "Third Reconstruction" includes a laundry list of far-left demands such as automatic voter registration, a single-payer health care system, a reparations commission, and "relief from student debt, housing debt, utilities debt, medical debt, and other household and personal debt that cannot be paid." Despite proposing that the dozen-plus programs, estimated to cost well into the trillions of dollars, be financed "using deficit spending," the "Third Reconstruction" calls for a 10 percent cut to the military budget.

"With this resolution, we (1) acknowledge the deep harms we have suffered from systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation and the denial of health care, militarism and the false narrative of white supremacist nationalist extremism and (2) commit to heal and transform the nation by addressing these interlocking injustices, beginning with those most impacted, with moral and just laws and policies," the Poor People’s Campaign wrote on Facebook.

As part of their strategy to pressure Democrats into supporting the initiative, the Poor People’s Campaign will hold a march on Washington, D.C., in June 2022. In 2018, the group organized "40 Days of Action," which resulted in thousands of arrests. Protesters in dozens of states held sit-ins at government offices and blocked roads while demanding local legislators pass hikes to the minimum wage and expand welfare benefits.

On Monday, the group announced a protest against Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) over his decision not to support H.R. 1, a bill that radically overhauls how the nation conducts elections.

"They said it's time to march on his office," Poor People’s Campaign co-chair Rev. William Barber said. "It’s time for people of all differences to stand together against him—we call it ‘from the hollers in the mountains to the hood.'"

Manchin previously met with the group to discuss a federal $15 minimum wage, although he later opposed the proposal. Democrats, including Reps. Pramila Jayapal (D., Wash.) and Barbara Lee (D., Calif.), claim the "Third Reconstruction" will "end poverty" and address the country’s income disparities allegedly caused by systemic racism. The language used by supporters of the "Third Reconstruction" follows much of the post-Civil War-era rhetoric from Democrats that has defined the early days of the Biden administration. The president’s recent failure to pass H.R. 1 came after his impassioned appeal to racial violence 100 years ago as evidence the country needs new voting rights today.

"For much too long, the history of what took place here was told in silence, cloaked in darkness. But just because history is silent, it doesn’t mean that it did not take place," President Joe Biden said on June 1, which marked the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa race massacre. "And while darkness can hide much, it can never erase what happened. That’s why we’re here: to shine a light, to make sure America knows the story in full."

Other Democrats, including Rep. Mondaire Jones of New York, who supports the "Third Reconstruction," called Manchin’s opposition to the bill an effort to "preserve Jim Crow." Biden himself has referred to GOP-led efforts to stop voter fraud as "Jim Crow in the 21st century."

Manchin did not respond to a request for comment.

Amazon Defends Sale of Anti-Cop Merchandise

Tech giant sells products featuring 'Blue Lives Murder' slogan

Amazon has banned T-shirts mocking Vice President Kamala Harris and books critical of transgender ideology, but allows the sale of memorabilia proclaiming "Blue Lives Murder."

Through Amazon, clothing makers are selling T-shirts, hats, bandannas, and masks that feature the anti-police slogan. Today for just $15.99 users can buy a "Blue Lives Murder" adjustable face mask and—for only $1 more—a baseball cap bearing the same slogan. Amazon defended the products, saying it strives to provide its customers "with the widest possible selection" of goods.

"We do not endorse the content of any particular book, video, or product," an Amazon spokeswoman said.

Gerald Neill Jr., president of the Fraternal Order of Police DC Lodge #1, accused the tech giant of failing to live up to its standards by allowing the "hate items" to remain on the site. Amazon has cracked down on other political products, including a "Joe and the Hoe" T-shirt, for violating its "selling guidelines." The site also banned Ryan T. Anderson's book When Harry Became Sally because, the platform said, it "frame[d] LGBTQ+ identity as a mental illness." The union chief said the "Blue Lives Murder" merchandise is offensive and dangerous.

"Amazon has a role in society as an industry leader to set a high standard, and they’re not doing that," Neill said. "I think Amazon is not being evenhanded."

Some merchandise bearing the slogan was removed from the website following inquiries from the Washington Free Beacon. T-shirt maker Morgan Schai removed a T-shirt featuring a billy-club wielding officer above the slogan. The company did not respond to requests for comment about the T-shirt itself or the decision to remove it. A spokesman for Nevoli, another clothing maker, told the Free Beacon that a hat bearing the phrase will be removed from the website soon.

Other anti-police products still remain on the website. Amazon, which did not respond to follow-ups about the removal of several items, said it would not take action against such merchandise. A spokeswoman said customers can express their dissatisfaction in reviews and comment areas.

"We understand that some customers may find some products objectionable, and we provide customers with a variety of ways to engage and express their views, including through product reviews," the company said in a statement.

Neill accused Amazon of profiting from growing anti-police sentiment, as well as cashing in on the dozens of "defund the police" items available from the e-commerce giant.

"I know they’re making money, but it’s about what’s good for America. None of that’s good for any part of America—none of it," Neill said. "Look who owns these companies. Are they putting any money back in the community? No. The police are in the community every day, and there are people in our toughest neighborhoods who rely on the police to do their job."

Hunter Biden Facilitated Deal for Democratic Consultants Now Under Federal Investigation

Emails show Biden served as conduit between Burisma Holdings and Blue Star Strategies

Emails from Hunter Biden's laptop show he was instrumental in setting up a consulting deal between a Ukrainian energy company and two Democratic consultants under investigation for violating foreign lobbying laws.

Biden and colleagues at the private equity firm Rosemont Seneca helped Burisma Holdings hire Blue Star Strategies, a firm owned by former Clinton administration officials Sally Painter and Karen Tramontano. Biden's emails show he played a bigger role than anyone had known in arranging Blue Star's consulting work for Burisma. Neither Biden nor the Blue Star founders registered their work under the Lobbying Disclosure Act or the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Biden's work as a middleman could also explain why federal prosecutors began scrutinizing Blue Star's work for Burisma. Republicans have scrutinized Biden over his work for the company, one of Ukraine's largest natural gas producers, as well as with various Chinese companies. Federal prosecutors are also investigating Biden over his tax affairs and foreign business dealings.

Politico reported that federal prosecutors in Delaware investigating Biden's taxes began probing whether Blue Star violated foreign agent laws by failing to disclose its work for Burisma. Both Biden and the Blue Star executives met with U.S. government officials to advocate on Burisma's behalf, according to congressional testimony. Biden also met with Painter in November 2015 to discuss her potential work for Burisma.

Burisma appointed Biden and his partner, Devon Archer, to serve on its board of directors in May 2014. As board members, the pair was tasked with finding investment projects for Burisma in the United States and Europe and boosting the company's reputation. Biden and Archer received more than $80,000 a month to serve on the board.

Burisma hired Blue Star in late 2015 to try to kill bribery investigations into Burisma's owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, a former minister of ecology and natural resources. Zlochevsky was under investigation in the United Kingdom for allegedly paying bribes to secure drilling contracts in Ukraine.

Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi emailed Biden and his partners on Nov. 2, 2015, with a list of "deliverables" he hoped Blue Star could provide the Ukrainian company. Pozharskyi said he wanted Blue Star to arrange for U.S. officials to express support for Zlochevsky. He said the "ultimate purpose" of the initiative was to shut down cases against Zlochevsky in Ukraine.

Biden responded on Nov. 5, 2015, telling Pozharskyi that he was confident Painter and Tramontano would deliver on the project and that Burisma should sign a contract with Blue Star.

"You should go ahead and sign. Looking forward to getting started on this," wrote Biden, who served with Painter on the board of the Truman National Security Project, a prominent national security think tank.

Antifa members in Portland charged after damaging Democratic Party Headquarters

Following many grand jury indictments, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office officially announced charges against Antifa rioters in Portland. The charges come from a variety of crimes committed over the last two weeks.

Charges against these Antifa members include felony riot and criminal mischief. The New York Post’s Andy Ngô, who was recently attacked at these riots reported all the charges in detail.

Left-leaning District Attorney Mike Schmidt dropped the vast majority of charges against Antifa rioters last year. But now, a spokesman told the Post that he “continuously condemned property damage and violence.”

NatGeo: There's No Such Thing As Race But White People Should Be Ashamed Of Their Race

National Geographic editor in chief Susan Goldbergpublished a dramatic front-page article in 2018 stating that the concept of race is "a made-up label" with "no scientific basis."

"There's no scientific basis for race – it's a made-up label," the article title read.

"It's been used to define and separate people for millennia," said the subheadline. "But the concept of race is not grounded in genetics."

Last week, Goldberg published an article bashing white people as a group that prominently featured a white woman declaring, "I'm ashamed for my ancestors' race."

The article, which is part of the Race Card Project that asked half a million people over ten years "to describe their feelings on race in just 6 words," featured just a handful of people – almost all of whom exclusively bashed whites, mostly for perceived microaggressions.

In 2018, Goldberg did a interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency where she said she "identifies as a Reform Jew."

"[Goldberg] was involved in the Habonim Labour Zionist youth movement, and at the age of 17 she lived for six months on a kibbutz in southern Israel," JTA reported.

Goldberg said that since starting her position at NatGeo "her 'biggest push' has been to increase gender, ethnic and racial diversity on the staff," JTA noted.

"I just don't think that you are going to end up with authentic stories if you've only got an all-white staff, and a majority male staff, and that is what it was," Goldberg told JTA. "We've been working very hard to change it."

Americans Must Demand a New Tax System in the Wake of a Major IRS Tax Leak

Yesterday, ProPublica published a database that included the personal tax information of several exceptionally wealthy Americans. It will not be linked here because the disgusting piece posted personal, possibly hacked information. The IRS better hope it was a hack—or else one of its own needs to go to jail. The laws governing the disclosure of tax information are unambiguous and have very few exceptions.

The exceptions do not cover dropping the tax information of billionaires to a left-wing organization to support President Biden’s tax plan. The fact that this happened means either your tax information is not secure or partisans within the IRS are willing to risk arrest to provide it to media outlets when it suits their purposes. Neither one is acceptable.

However, whoever is running President Biden’s social media account responded to the leak without acknowledging the ProPublica report directly.

I’m working hard to find common ground with Republicans when it comes to the American Jobs Plan, but I refuse to raise taxes on Americans making under $400,000 a year to pay for it.

Activists Say Facebook is a Wildlife Trafficking Conduit

Nearly two weeks after U.S. authorities arrested Vanessa Rondeau, a Canadian national who ran a boutique oddities shop in Montreal, and charged her with smuggling and trafficking of illegal wildlife, her shop’s Facebook site still displays disputed items like black bear and polar bear skulls.

Rondeau was accused of violating the Lacey Act, a 1900 law which bans the trafficking of illegal wildlife. Her shop sold everything to taxidermied endangered crows to polar bear skulls and even human remains. She would often make deals over Facebook and ship across national borders to the U.S., the DOJ said in a statement.

Rondeau was released on bail and will have to face the judge this month but her shop’s Facebook posts have not been taken down. One of the messages posted after her arrest stated that “not everything we see in the media or social network are accurate.”

According to the ATHAR project, an NGO which monitors the illegal antiquities trade online, it’s emblematic of the social media giants' failure to police the entire illegal economies which have sprung up on its pages.

“Facebook has known for years that it's a wildlife trafficking conduit,” the group said in a twitter thread. However, it consistently has relied on user complaints to moderate itself despite the fact that users join trafficking groups for the express purpose of engaging in the very crimes the site is expecting them to police.

It's “a fundamental flaw” of the enforcement process, ATHAR said. “When it comes to Facebook: the company is not going to enforce its own policies willingly. Relying on user complaints shows that Facebook is not serious about enforcing its own policies on illegal activity,” it added.

“Even a widely-publicized federal case, prompted by a woman selling endangered wildlife parts and human remains through facebook specifically, draws no attention from the company to remove her violating content.” Katie Paul, the co-founder of the ATHAR Project, told OCCRP. “The page has been active for years, and Facebook has been facilitating federal crimes in the process. How many more like this example are out there?”

It’s not just wildlife. Facebook groups have served as a hub for illicit trade in everything from looted antiquities to drugs.

Facebook’s own documentation found that more than 5.9 million drug deals were attempted on the platform in the third quarter of 2020 alone, dwarfing every other online marketplace.

In February of this year, the Alliance to Counter Crime Online wrote an open letter to the company calling out that fact and imploring them to take it seriously.

“The world’s biggest social media company isn’t just harming society with its monopolistic behavior,” the Alliance said in their letter. “Facebook platforms are a threat to the health and human safety of the American people. It is time to hold the firm and its senior executives accountable.”

Fauci Claims to “Have No Idea” About His Own, Documented E-Mails with Mark Zuckerberg.

Dr. Anthony Fauci appears to have spun a new web of lies today while appearing on MSNBC, this time claiming he has “no idea” about the concerns expressed by U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn about his communications with Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg – who funded a massive effort to artificially boost Democrat voting numbers at the 2020 election – was e-mailing with Fauci in mid March 2020. Now, Fauci claims to have “no idea” about these exchanges, despite also reaching out to Zuckerberg on the telephone during this period.

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd attempted to hand Fauci a “conspiracy theory” to knock down, but Fauci’s response just raises more questions.

Following Senator Blackburn’s expression of concerns, Fauci appeared on MSNBC to attempt to knock down her comments.

“The point is, his focus, was on himself,” Blackburn said. “He was taking care of himself. He was running a PR campaign to craft a narrative that would protect him from criticism. And his job is to be protecting the American people from infectious diseases, and how unfortunate for the American people that he decided that he had dug this hole, typical of some of our bureaucrats, it was too deep to get out of; and so he was in cahoots with Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook, and big tech, in crafting a narrative that would make it look as if this is something that just happened.”

Fauci’s response?

“I don’t have a clue of what she just said, I don’t have a clue of what she’s talking about. I have no idea what she’s talking about… I have no idea what she’s talking about.”

But unless he magically forgot a series of communications with Zuckerberg (as evidenced below) from March 2020, then Fauci just lied again.

Contagious Lies: CDC Claims Hospitalization Rising Among Unvaccinated Teens — Contrary to Its Own Data

We all knew this was coming. In order to justify the forced vaccination of children, the powers that be would somehow have to overturn 15 months of observations that COVID is less a threat to children than the flu and that unvaccinated children are less at risk than vaccinated adults (100 times less at risk than seniors), even if we are to believe Pfizer’s efficacy data.

“CDC director reports spike in teen hospitalizations, urges parents to vaccinate kids over 12,” was the headline at the Hill on Friday, reporting on the CDC’s new study of hospitalizations. Naturally, it caught my attention because we all know that hospitalizations among all age groups have been plummeting to record lows across the country in recent weeks. It turns out that along with its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), the CDC published a “study” purporting to show an increase in hospitalizations among 12- to 17-year-olds, with one-third of them being in the ICU and 5% of them being placed on ventilators.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky was ready to pounce. “I am deeply concerned by the numbers of hospitalized adolescents and saddened to see the number of adolescents who required treatment in intensive care units or mechanical ventilation,” said Walensky in a statement.

Of course, the solution is the great experimental gene therapy. “Until they are fully vaccinated, adolescents should continue to wear masks and take precautions when around other [sic] who are not vaccinated to protect themselves, and their family, friends, and community,” Walensky stated.

CNN dutifully echoed the false data and the premise it engenders without investigating it.

But there’s one problem. The CDC’s own data show that hospitalizations among all groups have plummeted over the past six weeks. It turns out they picked arbitrary start and end points – an old trick they’ve used with mask studies – which coincides with a period of increased hospitalizations among all age groups, including those with high vaccination rates.

The study period of the CDC’s report was from March 1, 2020, to April 24, 2021. It just so happens that April 24 was roughly the peak period for ALL age groups!

Most of that mini increase (after the major winter spread) was due to the final spring spread in the northeast and upper Midwest. Based on the CDC’s headlines, one would think that childhood hospitalizations are spreading now and that they are rising relative to other age groups. In reality, they have plummeted and only rose slightly from a near-zero baseline earlier this year along with other groups.

Unidentified flying objects (UFO) have repeatedly meddled with US nuclear technology, forcing some facilities to go offline, ex-head of Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, Luis Elizondo, told The Washington Post.

The revelation comes ahead of the release of an unclassified report on unidentified aerial phenomenons (UAPs) observed by US Navy pilots, which is expected to be submitted to Congress later in June.

"Now in this country we’ve had incidents where these UAPs have interfered and actually brought offline our nuclear capabilities," Elizondo said in an interview.

While some may deem the incidents to be "something that is peaceful," there is data suggesting that UFOs have meddled with other countries' nuclear technology and "actually turned them on, put them online," the expert said.

"I think that there is certainly at this point enough data to demonstrate there is an interest in our nuclear technology, a potential to even interfere with that nuclear technology," Elizondo said, noting there is nothing surprising about a possible increased interest in US capabilities related to its nuclear technology.

Commenting on the upcoming report, the expert said that it "definitively stated once and for all" that UAPs were not US technology, neither was it Russian or Chinese technology.

25 arrested in Riverside County operation targeting adults seeking sex with children

A series of law enforcement operations throughout Riverside County targeting individuals soliciting sexual encounters with children netted 25 arrests, authorities reported Tuesday.

The county’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force joined other agencies statewide in “Operation Intercept,” in which law enforcement personnel utilized social media and other online platforms to target adults seeking to lure children under 14 years old into engaging in sexual acts.

“The intent of Operation Intercept’ was to locate potential sexual predators who actively sought minors on social media platforms for the purpose of committing lewd acts,” according to a statement released by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. “This operation was also meant to reduce Internetchild predators’ actively seeking to commit lewd acts with minors throughout Riverside County.”

During the monthlong operation, men seeking sex with minors initiated online conversations with law enforcement personnel posing as children, according to the sheriff’s department. The suspects then arrived at predetermined meeting locations and were arrested and transported to county jail.

Arrestees ranged in age from from 22 to 61. The men were residents of Riverside County cities including Palm Desert, Indio, Moreno Valley and Murrieta. Others resided in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.

Most of the individuals arrested in the county sweeps were booked on suspicion of solicitation of a minor, and arranging to meet with a minor with the intent to engage in lewd sex acts.

Others were booked on suspicion of possessing a firearm, distribution of child pornography and violation of parole.

Father of Kansas man accused in killings dies by suicide after child sex crime charges

The father of a Leavenworth County man who is charged with killing his two young sons died by suicide while out on bond and awaiting trial for alleged child sex crimes.

Donald Jackson Sr., of Easton, died by suicide, Leavenworth County officials confirmed Wednesday. He had recently been charged with two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

“Our thoughts are with the family,” said Todd Thompson, the county attorney. “It would be presumptuous of us to know why he chose to do what he did. We did have charges filed against him, and our goal is always to protect our victims and community, and give a person a fair trial.”

According to a criminal complaint filed on Feb. 23, Jackson allegedly touched a child inappropriately between July and August 2019, in Leavenworth County.

He posted bail after his bond was set at $100,000 this spring, though the state had requested his bond be set at $500,000. He bonded out on March 29.

Human trafficking report finds Southern Ohio filed second highest number of cases in 2020

A new report shows that the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio, which includes Columbus, filed the second highest number of federal human trafficking cases in the nation in 2020.

The report, released Tuesday by the Human Trafficking Institute, found that three cases involving 15 defendants were filed in 2020 by federal prosecutors working in the Southern District of Ohio.

The report said there are currently 579 active human trafficking prosecutions involving more than 1,000 defendants across the country.

The Northern District of Texas charged the most new defendants in 2020 with 18.

According to records from the United States Attorney's office for the Southern District of Ohio, the three cases filed in the district in 2020 involved defendants in Cincinnati and in Scioto County. None of the cases filed in 2020 involved activity centered in Columbus.

In June 2020, nine people were charged in relation to an alleged sex trafficking ring in Scioto County involving the exchange of drugs for access to children.

Ashli Babbitt's husband sues DC Police for video, name of officer who fatally shot her

Aaron Babbitt claims in a new filing MPD has violated D.C.'s FOIA law by failing to provide him with the identity of the Capitol Police officer who shot his wife.

WASHINGTON — The husband of Ashli Babbitt – the woman shot and killed while attempting to breach the Speaker’s Lobby during the Capitol riot – is asking a D.C. court to force police to turn over records about the officer who shot her.

In a complaint filed in D.C. Superior Court last week, Aaron Babbitt, who lives in San Diego, California, claims the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department has failed to comply with the D.C. Freedom of Information Act. The complaint was filed by Terrell Roberts, an attorney with the Maryland-based law firm Roberts & Wood, which has been representing the Babbitt family.

Babbitt claims in the complaint he filed a FOIA request on April 21 asking for a slew of documents relating to his wife’s death, including video footage of the incident, witness statements and “documents that identify the officer or person who shot Ashli Babbitt.” To date, the U.S. Capitol Police have not identified which of their officers fired the fatal shot.

Leslie Wexner, former founder and CEO of L Brands and well known former pal of Jeffrey Epstein, has offloaded about $500 million worth of stock this year. In a filing posted Monday, Wexner revealed he sold $327 million in shares of L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret, bringing his total for the year up to about $500 million.

The sales come after Wexner revealed that he and his wife would be stepping down from the company's board, according to Bloomberg.

The company's stock is up about 600% since hitting a 5 year low in March 2020. Though Wexner had sold stock in the past to the tune of between $100 million and $200 million annually, his sales accelerated this year. His remaining stake makes up about 25% of his $9.7 billion net worth, the report noted.

Wexner is the latest in a long line of executives to ring the register on stock sales. Recall, in mid-May, we highlighted that billionaires were offloaded massive amounts of stock so far in 2021.

Amazon Jeff Bezos and Google co-founder Sergey Brin are just two of the well known names that have been offloading stock. They are joined by names like Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Ellison.

We have covered Bezos' recent stock sales in this article. He has sold $6.7 billion in Amazon shares this year. Bezos still owns more than 10% of Amazon and remains the world's richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire's Index. His worth comes in at about $191.3 billion. Bezos has hastened his stock sales over the last couple of years: he sold about $4.1 billion in stock last February and sold more than $3 billion in stock last November.

Larry Ellison sold 7 million Oracle shares over the past month, netting him $552.3 million. Mark Zuckerberg and his charitable foundation have accelerated sales of stock since last fall. They have cumulatively dumped $1.87 billion in stock since last November.

Zoom Video Communications founder Eric Yuan and used-car retailer Carvana Co.’s Ernest Garcia II have also sold between $1.75 billion in stock since March 2020, Bloomberg noted. CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has sold at least $250 million in stock over the same period.

Additionally, insiders like Charles Schwab have sold large chunks of stock. Schwab sold $192 million worth of shares in his brokerage this year.

But, in sum, public company insiders have sold shares worth $24.4 billion this year through the first week of May, the report noted. About half of these sales have come through trading plans. The number is almost at a par with the $30 billion insiders sold in the second half of 2020.

Additionally, Bloomberg notes that members of the Walton family "offloaded more than $1.2 billion of Walmart Inc. shares in recent weeks".
