Gov. Gavin Newsom said Friday he sees no conflicts of interest in companies donating to his wife’s nonprofit as they lobby his administration on policy.

 

A Sacramento Bee investigation published online Thursday found more than $800,000 in donations to the nonprofit Representation Project from companies that have lobbied the governor, including PG&E, AT&T and Kaiser Permanente. Those donations have helped fund Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s six-figure salary at The Representation Project, which she founded to finance her documentary films and promote feminism.

 

Newsom said his wife has received global recognition for her work and that he sees no conflict related to the donations and his role as governor.

It was just uncovered by The Sacramento Bee that some of the same big companies who are lobbying Gavin Newsom have also made over $800,000 in donations to his wife's nonprofit… which pays her a cushy salary!

 

Among them is PG&E, who is responsible for for multiple California wildfires, including the one that destroyed the Town of Paradise and claimed 84 lives in 2018.

 

When Gavin was pressed about whether he thought this posed a conflict of interest – which it OBVIOUSLY does – he responded:

"There's no correlation, period, full stop. Absolutely none."

There's no getting around it: Gavin Newsom's family is being supported by gifts from companies who want him to do their bidding.

 

That is ABSOLUTELY a conflict of interest! Period. Full stop.

 

Gavin Newsom is as corrupt as they come and does not deserve to be California's governor.
