When a person joins the military, they forfeit their civilian rights and are beholden to the UCMJ.
I do not know.
But a person in the military does not have the same rights as a civilian has.

My White niece was rejected in the nursing program at U. of I. Circle Campus even though she had good grades. Had to be given to a POC. So she went to a different nursing school in Southern Illinois.
And she's up to her neck in student loans because she didn't get any free tuition.
Now she works her ass off to pay off her student loans.
