This story makes me think that Toobin is following a script to illustrate how ridiculous CNN is.

White people are being told that they are Racist no matter what.

White people are being told that if they say that they aren't Racist, that makes them racist.

So their ammo. used to be to accuse Whites of being racist if Whites were acting racist.

But now Whites are being accused of being racist even if they are not Racist.

And being told, that the very fact that they deny being racist, in fact, makes them racist.

 

At this point, White people might as well be racist since they are being accused of it anyways.

But they won't be because they aren't. White people jump thru hoops to avoid being called Racist. Nothing scares a White person more than being accused of being racist. Except maybe going into a Black neighborhood, at night, alone, unarmed. White people are afraid of that too.
