I look at it as a 'system', especially now, worldwide. The devaluing of humanity, the deep seated hatred of humanity, the devaluing of individuality, an image worship, hell bent on destruction/eugenics etc…
'By their fruits you shall know them.'

Indeed, authenticating the culture, it's symbols, language during that time is the most accurate form of translation of documents.
The concordant method of study is the least accurate.

There's a good book called the 'Europeans' by Barzini, it's well researched and informative on the personalities of many of the European Countries.
Interdasting that the EU of today has been a complete and utter failure due to each member State has it's own history, resentments attitudes, values, beliefs and prejudices.
