I think a huge problem facing us is the FEAR to ACT.
We have laws on the books to curtail a lot of issues, and instead of implementing them, we create new laws.
Example Section 230 that allows Twitter and others to takedown info. The clause states, "….in good faith…."
well, when it is a completely lopsided approach, it doesn't take a genus to know that things aren't being done in good faith.
They (twitter) have repeated this offense too many times to count. Implement the law and problem solved…nobody's mustered the courage.
