A Deutsche Bank report includes a ‘Dire Warning’ for the US Economy after inflation reached highs not seen in 40 years.

Now foreign banks are warning about the US economy. Deutch Bank has some warnings for the world about the US economy:

Deutsche Bank has issued a stark warning on inflation, after consumer prices in the U.S. rose at a faster rate in May than any time since the Great Recession.

In its report Thursday, the government said that overall consumer prices rose 0.6 percent in May, bringing the annual inflation rate to 5 percent, the highest level since August 2008.

Core inflation, which excludes volatile energy and food costs, rose 0.7 percent in May after an even bigger jump in April, and is up 3.8 over the past 12 months, the quickest rate since 1992.

In a report on this week, Deutsche Bank wrote: ‘Rising prices will touch everyone. The effects could be devastating, particularly for the most vulnerable in society.’

‘Few still remember how our societies and economies were threatened by high inflation 50 years ago. The most basic laws of economics, the ones that have stood the test of time over a millennium, have not been suspended,’ the report warned.

The report expressed concerns that huge deficit spending by Congress as well as the Federal Reserve’s loose monetary policy could supercharge inflation rates.

Mexican Drug Cartel Unveils "Grupo Elite" Special Forces Unit Hunting Rivals

Drug cartels such as the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel, or CJNG, have upgraded their arsenals with an elite special forces unit, according to atlas.news.

CJNG released a video of their "Grupo Elite" otherwise known as special forces team, "outfitted with signal jammers and heavily modified rifles," said atlas.news. The video also shows the unit in what appears to be a bulletproof vehicle.

CJNG released the video (watch here) on the prospects of expanding their control into Naucalpan de Juárez, a city located just northwest of Mexico City in the neighboring State of Mexico. They appear to be threatening local drug lord Nestor Arturo Lopez Arellano, otherwise known as "El 20."

In the video, a Sicario says, "Citizens of Naucalpan. We are already here for one sole objective. And that's for all the cheap and dirty scumbags, the sons of bitches who are collecting fees, and extorting. You're charging a tariff with citizens who work honestly. As well with public transportation workers. This message goes out to you Nestor Arturo Lopez Arellano."

CJNG — which is known for kidnappings, torture, and murders across Mexico and the US, has been blamed for the fentanyl crisis.

Victoria's largest power plant evacuated as flood crisis continues

Victoria's largest power plant has been evacuated as the state's flooding crisis continues.

Three generators at the Yallourn Power Station, east of Trafalgar, were taken offline today after heavy rain caused flooding and landslides.

"The company was very concerned that if they had water ingress into their mine, they may damage equipment and endanger personnel," Mark Richards from the CFMEU said.

Unions said the power station had just three days of reserve supply and a small crew had been allowed back in.

The power station produces almost a quarter of Victoria's electricity, but the government said there was enough reserve to meet the state's winter demand.

"The long-term supply issues are what they're trying to maintain, and as soon as the water stops flooding in, it'll be a case of firing up the plant and getting the four units back up and running," Mr Richards said.

In Gippsland, rivers and creeks are well above their normal levels and properties are being swallowed by floodwaters.

Defector Claims to Have Evidence That Chinese Military Coordinated Creation and Release of COVID-19

Last week, Jen Van Laar at our sister site RedState broke the news that a high-ranking defector had been working for months with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), unbeknownst to either the FBI or CIA. The defector claims to have knowledge of special weapons programs in China that include bioweapons.

Now, in a new exclusive bombshell, Van Laar reports that the defector has provided evidence that the Chinese military orchestrated the creation of the COVID-19 virus, which did, in fact, leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology:

RedState has now learned some details of the information provided by the defector, including that he provided data proving that SARS-CoV-2 was manmade and leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, in addition to evidence confirming that the People’s Liberation Army managed the Wuhan program (and others), as Chinese virologist Yan Li-Meng told the FBI last year.

Technical details provided by the defector, RedState is told, were given to scientists (who were not told how that information was given to the government) who then re-analyzed data from published sources in conjunction with the new data and concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was engineered. And, the defector was able to confirm numerous non-public details Yan provided the US government.

Recall that scientist Li-Meng Yan, a respected Hong Kong virologist and immunologist, was repeatedly and ritually defamed for claiming that the Chinese government not only knew about the novel coronavirus earlier than it claimed, but it also was involved in the creation and release of the virus. Writing in September with several other scientists at Zenodo, an open-source pre-publication website, Yan claimed:

The natural origin theory, although widely accepted, lacks substantial support. The alternative theory that the virus may have come from a research laboratory is, however, strictly censored on peer-reviewed scientific journals. Nonetheless, SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus. In this report, we describe the genomic, structural, medical, and literature evidence, which, when considered together, strongly contradicts the natural origin theory. The evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 should be a laboratory product created by using bat coronaviruses ZC45 and/or ZXC21 as a template and/or backbone.

Building upon the evidence, we further postulate a synthetic route for SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating that the laboratory-creation of this coronavirus is convenient and can be accomplished in approximately six months. Our work emphasizes the need for an independent investigation into the relevant research laboratories. It also argues for a critical look into certain recently published data, which, albeit problematic, was used to support and claim a natural origin of SARS-CoV-2. From a public health perspective, these actions are necessary as knowledge of the origin of SARS-CoV-2 and of how the virus entered the human population are of pivotal importance in the fundamental control of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as in preventing similar, future pandemics. This echoes what researcher Kristian Anderson, professor of immunology and microbiology at Scripps Research, emailed to Dr. Fauci: “The unusual features of the virus make up a really small part of the genome (<0.1%) so one has to look really closely at all the sequences to see that some of the features (potentially) look engineered,” Anderson wrote.

Bibi Ciao: Israeli Protesters Celebrate Netanyahu's Ouster as Coalition Assumes Office - Report

The march on Saturday was anticipated to be the last weekend protest against the current prime minister, which have been held weekly since summer 2020, before a new coalition to depose him is sworn in on Sunday.

Around 2,000 protesters demonstrated outside Netanyahu's Jerusalem residence on Saturday night on the eve of an important vote in the Israeli parliament that may end the country's longest-serving prime minister's term, the Agency France Presse reported.

Parliament will vote on whether to form a "change" coalition government to replace Netanyahu, who has been in power for the past 12 years. What some have called an unexpected coalition includes right-wing, left-wing, and centrist parties, as well as an Arab Islamic conservative party, all of which are united in their opposition to Netanyahu's rule, and the creation of the new government was reportedly finalized this Friday, as the coalition agreements were signed.

According to the report, protesters sang "Bibi Ciao" outside Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem to the tune of the Italian partisans' Bella Ciao folklore song, although the prime minister spent the weekend at his private house in Caesarea.

This is not the first time Israeli protesters have sung their rendition of the famous Italian resistance song, as they already celebrated Netanyahu's possible resignation last week amid news of the formation of the opposition coalition that sought to oust Netanyahu from power.

​As some of the demonstrators quoted in the report said, they were celebrating "a big night" and on Sunday there "will be even a bigger day," as some of them reportedly call it the end of "a dark era for Israel."

"This is our last Saturday here. We won. Tomorrow the Knesset will vote and this prime minister will go. It is good. He will go," one of the protesters told the outlet.

For nearly a year, starting last July, demonstrators have held regular protests against Netanyahu, demanding his resignation due to his pending trial on allegations of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. The incumbent prime minister is the first sitting Israeli prime leader to be prosecuted while in office. In his turn, Netanyahu denies all accusations, saying that they are defamation spread by his rivals.

Protesters have also recently been calling on legislators to unite against the long-serving leader and form a new administration in recent weeks.

The anti-Netanyahu protest movement peaked in mid-summer 2020, with tens of thousands taking to the streets in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as thousands more at bridges and intersections across the country.

Lapid Coalition to Remove Netanyahu From Power

The new coalition government of Israel will be sworn in on Sunday at a special meeting of the Knesset, at the same time, the deputies will elect a new speaker of the Israeli parliament.

The coalition, which Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition Yesh Atid party, managed to form following the 24th Knesset elections, is called the "change bloc" and is based on a minimum parliamentary majority - 61 parliamentary votes in the 120-seat Knesset.

Fans boo players on England's men's national soccer team for kneeling before games

Critics say British Prime Minister Boris Johnson should have outright condemned the booing.

The English men's national soccer team is getting booed by fans for players taking a knee in recent games to call attention to racial injustice – a gesture that started in the U.S. and has spread to professional sports around the world.

The players have knelt on one knee in at least two practice matches in preparation for the European Championships that began Friday.

Observers say the controversy was fueled by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson responding to the fans by saying through a spokesperson he "would like to see everyone getting behind the team to cheer them on, not boo."

Critics say Johnson should have outright condemned the booing.

The spokesperson told NBC News that Johnson "believes in taking action rather than just making gestures."

The official governing body of English soccer, the Football Association, and the Free Lions, a group of fans in England and Wales, have each publicly opposes the booing and say it is coming from a "minority of the England crowd,” NBC also reports.

The games are being held in 11 European cities with the final July 11 in London's Wembley Stadium, home of the English national team.

Professional athletes kneeling before the start of the game to recognize social injustices effectively began as far back as 2016 when then-San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick began making the gesture before games during the playing of the U.S. national anthem.

Greitens: Well I’ll tell you this, Colonel Rogers is here today she is a state senator from the state of Arizona and she pushed back hard on the Biden administration and she was exceptionally clear that this is something that they’re doing in the state of Arizona, so that the people of Arizona, can actually have trust and faith in their elections. And you know what we need, we need to have leaders who are fighters, who are fighters like State Senator Rogers, United States Air Force veteran like State Senator Sonny Borrelli, a United States Marine Corps veteran, here in Arizona, who are fighters who are willing to stand up.
