Our local newspaper has become unbearable. So many opinion pieces, and special interest articles. They try to report about different people around town who are doing new things, opening charities, starting community gardens and stuff, and keep reading the article, never are these just regular old everyday people you might meet while taking a walk around the block. They're all one-legged ex hooker crack addicts, or lesbians in a mix race relationship, 2 homos, immigrants, whatever. Never just about what the people are doing, always the special interest back story. I gave up trying to read the paper a long time ago.
