It seems from my perspective that all of what we call modern society seems to be a sophisticated form of organized cheating, so if we really pull on that particular thread, everything will unravel. Personally I'm fine with that but i really wonder if most other people would be.
Well, you know, that's generally true, but letting go of human attachments and striving can open the door to a lot more than just that, there are some who take those realizations in the opposite direction actually. It's like any tool or weapon, it can be used to do beneficial things or it can be used to cause suffering. When we say All, that includes all the grungy bits that are considered by most to be unpleasant and unwanted. I figure you already know at least some of this though.

Right. So some people wake up in the esoteric sense and become, let's say, unreasonably destructive, for lack of a better term for it. And that's part of everything, and so is removing them from the playing field. It's just part of it all. So my point is, the positive qualities you described aren't experienced by 100% everyone that looks within, and I don't know what the percentages are as far as how many need to be taken out of play vs. how many don't.
