to the idiots bitching about blackrock and vanguard. they only control everything but individuals and other fiscal individual own it through funds and etfs. sure, we own an IOU or whatever. save the debate. the issue is that not that they own anything but that while we buy it, they reserve the right to the stock voting powers, board elections, etc. That's the target we should go after.
