Gain-of-function represents one of those approaches that is a crucial tool for public health preparedness and response,” Baric asserted in 2014 while lobbying against a moratorium on gain-of-function research.

During his 2018 speech “Imagining the Next Flu Pandemic – and Preventing it!” he presents a slide titled “Global Catastrophe: Opportunities Exist.” The slide outlines what type of stocks and industries surged during the Ebola outbreak, which he uses to extrapolate financial advice on how to “make money in the next pandemic.”

While speaking over the following slide – “Pandemics: Opportunity” – Baric posits that “pandemics really are times of opportunity.”

“There is an opportunity for people to have political gain, financial gain, and personal gain during times of social upheaval, and that will probably occur,” he adds.

Armenia 2nd President: It is necessary to either ban offices of Soros or set tight restrictions

It is necessary to either ban offices of Soros or set tight restrictions on their operation. This is what second President of Armenia, candidate of “Armenia” bloc for Prime Minister Robert Kocharyan said during a campaign meeting in the city of Noyemberyan of Tavush Province.

According to Kocharyan, there will first be legislation, followed by tight restrictions or a ban on the operation of those organizations. “They will either be banned or will operate as international agents under strict control,” Kocharyan said and recalled that Western countries have set tight restrictions on the operation of organizations funded by other countries.

https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/business/joseph-vazquez/2021/06/09/hypocritical-soros-paid-no-income-tax-3-years-signing

Soros-funded outlet ProPublica published a report exposing how “Soros paid no federal income tax three years in a row.” A Soros spokesman reportedly told ProPublica: “‘Between 2016 and 2018 George Soros lost money on his investments, therefore he did not owe federal income taxes in those years. Mr. Soros has long supported higher taxes for wealthy Americans.’” But as The Dan Bongino Show’s Matt Palumbo noted, “the performance of Soros Fund Management, the fund responsible for Soros’ massive wealth, gained 5% in 2016, 8.9% in 2017, and 0.9% in 2018. Where exactly is the loss that they’re speaking of?” [Emphasis added.]

Soros signed an open letter in 2019 calling on presidential candidates to adopt a wealth tax on the top one-tenth of one percent. The letter reeked of left-wing propaganda: “Those of us in the richest 1/10 of the richest 1% should be proud to pay a bit more of our fortune forward to America’s future. We’ll be fine — taking on this tax is the least we can do to strengthen the country we love.” In essence, it appeared Soros was being hypocritical.
